Who knew? Last night after luau we had dole whip in the Poly at Capt Cooks!!!

Had to run an errand in Cocoa Beach this morning and saw the Dream docked at PC. It was so exciting thinking today's cruise is the last one before Sunday! We honked and waved at the boat for everyone and said "See ya real soon!"

Hi everyone. Just passed through Atlanta. A few more hours of driving tonight and then we will stop. Tomorrow we will go to Magic Kingdom. Our van is stuffed. My FE stuff took up an entire suitcase! Oh well, I guess it will give me a place to put all the things I purchase while on the ship, lol. Be safe everyone ans see u all in 3 days.

Oh boy....Tami you are in for a real treat. From Wikipedia :

"Dole Whip is a soft serve frozen dessert available most notably at Walt Disney World (at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom, and Captain Cook's at the Polynesian Resort) and Disneyland[1], as well as at Dole Plantation in Hawaii[2]and Unified Enterprises Corp. in Hawaii. It is also available at mainland Lappert's Ice Cream stores. The dessert is a puree reconstituted with water and then frozen before serving."

My understanding is that they are more prevalent out in Cali but can still be found at WDW. Of course I like to....ehem..."enhance" mine a bit. A jig of Pinnacle Whipped gently stirred into the bottom will really put you into adult tropical Nirvana.

Glad to hear from you! I have been meaning to check in but you all know how pre-trip preparations go. I think it's actually been busier getting ready to go without the boys than if we were taking them with us! ...trying to plan for every possible contingency...making life easier on the grandparents. I know, they've raised kids before but it has been a Looooooooong time..(no old man jokes from the Peanut Gallery! I'm not drinking yet.)

We'll be at POFQ by tomorrow afternoon. I'll try to keep track via DIS app with on my phone. Looking forward to meeting you all in person at D-Lounge on Sunday! Be there...or be a dancing banana..

My original plan was to not check any bags. Upon joining the FE, I realize this is not a possibility. LOL

I cant decide if I am more excited about the cruise or more tired from getting ready...ok, definitely more excited.

From the OC to the OC--we're here! We got in yesterday around 4pm. Had dinner at Gloria Estefan's restaurant Bongo's in downtown Disney (I love me some Cuban food!) and today, we're hitting Universal Studios for Harry Potter world. Tomorrow, at the request of my DD 8, we're going to visit "winter" the Dolphin from the movie Dolphin Tales.

Got the last things done tonight. Packing, snacks, FE gifts. Now I'm very tired, kinda stressed, and about to sleep. Till 4 AM anyway, then a day's flying out to Orlando and to the Hyatt Regency tomorrow night.

I cant believe the time has actually come! We've been at BLT since Tuesday abd we are xhecking out today. I've got to go pick up our rental, we've got a few errands to run, abd then we are headed to Downtown Disney for a few hours. We will end the day at Epcot. I still don't have a hotel for tonight, so I need to get that booked ASAP.

I can't believe we are down to one sleep!! Safe travels everyone!

I know this is prob too late to post. We are in the car almost at port canaveral. I finally have a minute to post ( better late than never). We are very excited and glad to say we ate making the cruise. My DH has been out of town for several weeks for work and just made it back today and sadly enough I finally finished packing this am ( even though I started last week)
