July 22, 2012 5 Night Bahamian Cruise

I am so jealous you are going to AOA!! Please tell me all about it!! It sounds so awesome!!

Well, after realizing that the regular rooms aren't open yet, we aren't staying at AOA. It's $450 for that night!! Not worth it at all for us that night!! I've booked a hotel near the airport. Not at all as fun as AOA, but with a 6:35am flight on Saturday morning, it's more practical.

Anyone have an idea where they're going to have lunch after checking in?

One week today yipeeee!!:cool1:

I think that we will probably head to Cabana's. I think that Enchanted Garden is open as well, but I think that we want a less formal lunch that day.

I can't believe that a week from right now, we will be on the water, headed to CC!!

We always went to Parrot Cay on the other ships for buffet lunch once onboard - so would the equivalent be Enchanted Garden?

Tomorrow - I will be I my happy place! With a Dole whip.... Yum!!

Yes, it is. We tried to go to PC on our last cruise for lunch, but by the time we got on the ship, it was already full.

Tomorrow - I will be I my happy place! With a Dole whip.... Yum!!

And I'll be there the day after!! 36 hours and I'll be at the airport!!

We're also flying out Saturday, and staying overnight at the Hyatt Regency at Orlando airport.

Patrick

We decided to stay right in Port Canaveral Saturday night. Will be arriving late afternoon in Orlando so decided to just continue on. Kids will be totally wiped after flying all day though. Oh well... will just deal with the meltdowns as they come *sigh*

Wishing everyone a safe journey til we meet on the Dream! We are a few minutes from the port so we are lucky to not have to travel but I know how stressful it can be. If anyone needs assistance/help/directions, please call me 321-501-7648 or email tgrgrl1@gmail.com -Kendra

Oh, I forgot, we decided to forgo the traditional FE holder so there will be an adorable Rapunzel ballet bag on our FE. No name on the outside, but it's ours!

Traveling with my husband's family. I am helping my sister and brother in law out with trying to figure out the whole Fish Extender thing. Do I just make them a Fish Extender, hang it outside their door and then bring little items to put in other Fish Extender's? Do I need to register their Fish Extender? LOL Please let me know, I am coming into this late and want to get them squared away. Thank you!
:flower3:

Aunt Beep Beep... You may have to read through the posts above to see about the second FE exchange, but I would email Patrick directly asap as he is handling that particular one. There was a group formed several months ago, but it closed at about 45 days out. A second group was started for late comers, so hopefully there's still time. Here is his email...

FE group #2 - Please email me at democratpat@yahoo.com, and I'll send the FE group list and maps!

Patrick

Read through to find out more fun details, like the meet & greet in the D Lounge on the first day at 2:30, as well as tastings get togethers on sea day evening for the adults.

See you on the Dream in only a few days!

Thanks so much "wrongwayfeldman", my brother in law contacted "democratpat" and I was emailed, so the kids are in the second group. Yeah. Hoping to get more information on how this works, it seems like the initial instructions I read only told you how to make one. Waiting for a reply from democratpat to see how it works. Wish us luck! Thanks again. Signed, Confused Aunt of Emmett, Annie, Gracie and Philip. lol

So my inlaws are in the second group for FE, but I have no other explanation of how it works other than they are in that group. Can anyone else me. I receive an email from democratpat that my inlaws are in, but that is it. Can anyone else explain this to me. Please. I am thinking that they now need to do a little gifty to each person in their group? How do we know who they are? Do we do this everyday? Age group? I am totally in the dark on this and the original instructions does not explain any of this. If anyone could help me out with an explanation, I would be grateful!! Thanks so much!
Confused Aunt!

Patrick (Screnwriter),
I have sent you an email to add our names on the second FE list.
BTW, you got AminFamily alias assigned to Legasse family in the list posted.
Are there any guidelines for this group?
Thanks for coordinating this.

How does this work? Do I put everything in baggies and deliver first day?

Typically it's rather random. Some FE gifts are pragmatic, some whimsical. Most try to incorporate something to do with either Disney or the deliverers hometown. It can be a group cabin gift or individual. As for timing, most like to spread it around during the cruise. It makes finding random acts of gift giving magic a blast for kids ...and adults that are kids at heart.
