July 22, 2012 5 Night Bahamian Cruise

Thanks for the vote of confidence.:) If others on here don't have a problem with it, I am willing to organize the Fish Extender.

Help is always appreciated and needed. Thanks, for posting your information, it is very helpful.

Here is our information:
Bob (Adult)
Tami (Adult)
Kaitlyn (17, girl - just graduated)
Kaleb (13, boy)
Cabin # 6534

I have compiled the information from those who have posted their interest in FE(ing) with us. If others are interested just let me know. If you would rather not post the information publically, just PM me.

Based on the number of posts, I don't think our cruise will be too crowded :rotfl2:

Thanks for volunteering! ( Or is that Mousketeering?) We're looking forward to participating in the FE for the first time.
We are:
Jay & Katie - both adults (at least that's what my license says)
we're in 8576

Yeah..a birthday that ends in a zero :scared1:

I don't mind if it gives us an excuse for a cruise.

Jim & Tonya (adults)
Rhianna 14yr

Adding our names to the FE list.
Troy and Joni - adults
Room # GTY

We are celebrating our 10th anniversary and this is our offical honeymoon (although it is a little late - we never got one :rolleyes1)

I love my husband. I offered to take another cruise line to Demark, Germany and Norway and he refused. He knows how much I love Disney and what it means to me to go on all four ships. So sweet!

We have finalized our plans for the night before. We are going to stay at the Yatch's Club and eat at the Yatchsman's Steakhouse (my mouth is watering!) Then we will spend the evening on the Boardwalk - we can't wait to go to Jellyrolls again. We will get breakfast in the morning, go swimming and then catch the Disney cruise bus to the port and contuine with our vacation.

Is it July yet?

Congratulations on you anniversary! (and honeymoon) Our honeymoon was a Disney cruise though it was nearly 12 years ago. We have similar travel arrangements. We're staying at Port Orleans French Quarter before we sail just to unwind then catch the bus to the port.

We would love to meet you two sometime on ship and grab a drink. :cool2:

Joni, thanks for your information. I have added your names to the FE list.

Congratulations on your upcoming 10 Anniversary. We have another couple (KML11) also celebrating their 7th Anniversary. Like TempusFugit, we also celebrated our Honeymoon on a Cruise with Disney, but that was 20 years ago before Disney owned their own Cruise line. We were on The Big Red Boat - Majestic.

Currently we don't have many families involved with the FE, so you shouldn't have any worries there. My plan is to begin posting detailed FE info at the 100 day mark. If anyone would like it before than just let me know.

I like you, can't wait for July, although I am sure being from Alaska you are more than ready for a little warm sun. We are in Chicago, and our weather has been amazing here this year, so I can't complain about that. I am just ready to "get away" with my family and there is no better way to do that than with Disney.

Ha! Small world. We're just a few hours South of you in Indy.

Even though we were spoiled with a relatively mild midwest winter I'm ready for summer too. Bring on the heat! :cool2:

Thanks. Maybe we will meet on the bus. I am not sure how they divide up the resorts but Port Orleans isn't too far from Yatchs Club. I was torn between taking Disney's transportation or hiring a limo/town car but those porthole windows sealed the deal for me. Otherwise, we would love to meet up with you.

Thank you as well. Especially being in Alaska we are more than ready for the sunshine. It was snowing today :sad2: April 4th and it is still snowing. I heard that the Chicago area has been getting very nice weather this year.

I am starting to think about FE gifts. I hope to be able to accomplish what I am thinking about. I always seem to run out time. I have also started to plan out my dresses that I want to sew. I always have complete matching outfits for everyone in the family for each activity that we do. This time I am just sewing for myself. That will be fun. I always make sure I am sporting the DCL logo somewhere....

:boat: Well, I'm now finally ready to start planning for the Fish Extenders! :sail:

pixiedust: Tami - You rock for doing the list!! Wishing you extra fairy dust for the trip!! :thanks:

Our DD18 is graduating next month so things have been a little crazy :crazy2: plus I homeschool my youngest, have a farm, 2 businesses and we're going to WDW this weekend for our first stay in our DVC at BLT!! I NEED A VACATION!!

My daughter was allowed to bring someone on the cruise and we tried to work it out with a couple of friends but just couldn't get it together so it will just be the 4 of us! Secretly I am glad since she starts college this fall and I am already freaking out just thinking about her graduating... We have two older kids 30 & 32, I know I will survive!!

Room #8042
Gary & Linda (VERY young 50's)
Elora dd18
Faith dd12 (at time of cruise...)

This is our 6th Disney cruise! Will be our first one on a "New" Ship!!

:woohoo: We paid the balance of the cruise off this weekend and started booking stuff yesterday! We booked the Atlantis Snorkel the Ruins & Aquaventure for all 4 in Nassau.

We booked a Cabana for the 2nd day at Castaway, I want one for both days (Mom & Dad's hideout!!) but our travel agent hasn't been able to get one the 1st CC day

Oh yeah - We are also doing the wave-runners the 1st CC day and parasailing the 2nd day...

Do you guys know when the pirate night is for sure?? party:pirate:

I was thinking I'd do a gift per cabin then little things each day... Half of the fun for us is delivering!! Sneaking around the halls and seeing everybody's doors and feeling like fairy godmothers or fairies!! :tinker:

As for the meet and greet, for some reason we missed this on our last Cruise because were running around waiting in lines for spa stuff and such so my request is maybe we could book it later than 3PM?? I want to meet everybody!! :goodvibes

Maybe we could have an adults meet for cocktails some day as well?? Please let me know what you all know about the schedule - I feel so far behind planning this!! :scared1:

We need to recruit some more people for our FE!! I'll troll around the boards and FB and see if I can round some up!! You guys please do it too!!

We are totally in for a meet and greet on the first day. Especially to be clued in in case there are any room changes the day of the cruise. Last time I cruised - there were several. Everyone was upgrading at port. I am fairly certain there will be none of that this cruise though.

We would also like an adult cocktail time. My husband and I love to play games. Would anyone care to join us one afternoon for gametime? I was thinking Risk, trivial pursuit or maybe a Disney themed game...

We are definitely all for DIS coctail hour! :thumbsup2 I'm sure we can schedule a meet or two. We're looking forward to checking our the new bars setup. DIS martini tasting anyone?

Finding out about any cabin changes would be very helpful. I hadn't thought of that. It may be more fun with a few mre FE participants but we're OK with overall smaller numbers as this is our fist time in.

The actual Pirate night has been a bit of a mystery. DCL website says one thing but a phone call confirmed previous cruise's itinerary. Really not sure. Please let us know what you find out.

We are definitely in for Martini tasting! Is that one of the things you have to book ahead of time?

We ( the Eisenson family) are new to this, this will be our family's first Disney cruise and we are very excited. A friend told me about the fish extenders. What do I need to do to sign up? We have two boys and I know my four year old would love it too. If there anything else we should know or advise anyone has we would greatly appreciate it
Thanks so much:
:)

You don't sign up for the tastings ahead of time. Once onboard you can make reservations. It is one of our favorite things to do on the Disney cruises. If we four meet beforehand, perhaps on the shuttle. we can be sure to make reservations for the same time and pass along the info to the rest of the DIS gang at our meet n' greet. :littleangel:

Hello and welcome aboard.....Haaaaaarrrrr!!! pirate:

You're family is going to have a great time this July. While this is not our first DCL cruise it's out first time out with the FE. tamihong has kindly volunteered to keep track of the participants info. From what I've read a list will be available about a month + or - before sailing when the list closes so we may prepare. If you have any questions there are inumerable threads on FEs or perhaps tamihong or one of the other members can chime in.
