We are in the early planning stages for a trip with our daughters who are 3 and 1. Is there a specific week we should avoid?

For example, I checked rates at the Hilton the week of July 9-15 and the rates were $900/night. 2 weeks before and after were $150.

July is always crowded, it's July. D23 is in July next year, hotels around the convention center will be popular.

I think I will avoid the week before and after D23. I guess we are now looking at early August. Thanks for the heads up!
