I didn't see a thread for July yet, if there is one, point me to it and I'll post there.

We (myself and DH) will be checking in on 06/30 and staying until 07/09, premium site, hoping for 900 loop.

We are meeting up with some friends of ours who will be there 07/01-07/04.

We will be joined at different points in the trip by DS23, DS19 and some of DS19's friends from high school. DS30 will stop by to visit and get us into the parks one day (he is a cast member). I have all of them listed on the reservation for the whole time to make it easier. DS27 lives in Michigan and can't join us on this trip but I have another trip planned for September and he is planning on joining us then.

It will be sort of a reunion trip since DS19 will just have come home from his study abroad trip in Greece and will get to spend some time with his old high school band friends before heading back to college for his sophomore year.

I know I don't post a whole lot, I am a pretty quiet person, but I will try to post if I see something new/different to let you all know.

Please feel free to join in and add your dates, photos and comments.

Thanks for starting July thread!

I was getting a little withdrawal. June didn't seem like a busy month for the Fort TRs. I'll be following along. Post as you can and don't be too shy. It's hard for us to bite behind a keyboard.

mom,

You are a born leader!

IN!

I am in for July (God Bless Ya'll).

Starting to get ramped up for our annual pilgrimage to the Fort. Checking in on 07/21 and checking out on 08/04. I've pretty much got our stops planned out on the route down from MA, not much changing from last year. All the FP+ was booked at 60 days out on the dot. We already booked a cart with Tee Time. Plan is to arive early, check into the overflow lot and go get the cart at noon then go to the site when it's ready. The wife is working on a pretty big rope light Mickey head to hang on the front of the RV. I'd like to build a Mickey head pole as well, but not sure if I'll have the time before leaving. The rope light should be done this week and I'll post a pic of it when I do a test hang.

Post as you can, but try not to let it interfere with your trip. I'm with teamubr, was starting to get a little worried there wasn't any trip reports coming. Whew! Enjoy your trip:thumbsup2

We arrive on the 8th. We leave here on Friday (24th) and are heading to Ichetucknee, Weeki Wachee, Turtle Beach, The Everglades, and The Keys before heading up to Disney. We are staying in Sebring on the 7th at Lake Josephine RV resort. Haven't been but the lady on the phone was really nice.

Will keep everyone posted when we arrive. Super excited. It's our first time camping at DW and I haven't been in over 15 years. DH used to work there so it will be very interesting! The kid just turned 8 and it will be her first trip to DW.

Arriving on the 3rd and leaving on the 7th in a cabin. I have a PTR and discussion started for July if anyone wants to join in :)

We will be there July 2nd thru the 7th. Stopping for a few days in St. Augustine on the way down, and Amelia Island on the way home. Almost two weeks total...

Not going into the parks this trip. We make it to WDW at least once a year (this year 3!), so a No Park Trip is not a big deal. With the heat and crowds, figured we'd spend our $$ on "other stuff". First time back to The Fort in several years (long story staring busy kids growing up....)
The following is all a surprise for the family, but they don't read the boards, and I have to tell somebody :mic: We are usually park commandos and miss all the extra things. This should be a fun change of pace.

I've reserved a golf cart, which we have never done before. Ordered a big box of 4th of July decorations from Party City. Going to hide the box until we get there and let my girls decorate the cart and campsite. Plan to entry the parade!

Also, reserved a Pirate and Pals Fireworks excursion for the 4th. Looks like fun and and a great way to experience the MK fireworks. Arr! pirate:

We are also going to Blizzard Beach one day. First time to a WDW WP too. They know that we are going, but I've secretly reserved one of the Polar Patio things.... they will think that is a BIG DEAL!

Super Excited!!

We will be there July 20-24 (maybe 19-24) for a no park trip. I can't wait! We will be spending a few days at a spring prior to this. We are a family of 6 with 4 boys ages 13, 12, 9, and 4. I was thinking of renting a pontoon boat one day but now not sure and we discussed HDDR or Mickey's Back yard BBQ but the $322-$374 price tag is just too steep. The pontoon boat for ~$90/hr seems like a great deal - anyone here rented one?

We will be there from July 24 to Aug 8th, driving down from CT with our trailer.

yes,and it was neat to see, took about an hour to cruise the whole lake, passing as close as they would allow to the other resorts.

Well count us in for July. I've been checking online for a week now and this moring I punched in the dates 7/4 to 7/10 and BAM a premium site popped up so I took it as a sign and jumped on it, a few minutes and melting the Disney Visa credit card a little we are book. It's kinda last minute for us, but we're excited. It's just going to me and my DW this time around. So get ready for long lines, hot temperatures and high humidity...we're going to Disney World!

Still debating on renting a cart, so far we know we're planning on dinner at Trails End, and Boatwrights, DW wants to rude the new Frozen Ride and I AM booking us the Behind the Steam Tour, plans won't let me book it back in February.

I'm pulling a @tiggerdad on this trip since we're not travel with family or friends like our past two trips, I'm planning on getting to the Fort at 0800 on 7/4 and getting any available sites they have open, so I plan on leaving home around 2300 on the 3rd. Like I meantion this will be our first trip to the Fort with out anyone following so with no need for fuel stops and my DW will sleep the whole way down, I hope to make it in record time, 7 hours or less.

In the meantime I'm going to sit back and read along with everyone TRpopcorn::

Way to go man! Glad to see you could put something together. I know you been trying to get something booked this year.

You still gonna try for December or will this take it's place?

Well I decided on not renting a cart this trip, actually the lady at Time Tee Carts made it for me, they're booked up for July. I knew it was a long shot so we'll be cruising on the bikes this go around.

Maybe something in November or December 2017, or something. I'm still wanting to work something out for us to make the trip together next year if yall decide to go.

This will take the place of our normal February trip to the Fort, I was out voted for a cruise to Mexico out of Mobile. Either way I'm still on a vacation, it's all good.

Well after saying I've been going to book the Behind the Steam Tour at MK for the past three trips, my wonderful DW booked it for this trip next week. So it's going to be up early on the 6th gotta be at the MK at 0700hrs! It's going to be worth it!

Also I just had a notification from Amazon that my Blisslight was just delivered to the house, looking forward to using at the Fort next week, hope I can score a nice site with a nice tree to show off the Blisslight.
