July 2012 Who's Going Thread

We're booked at PPH for the 8th-14th, and it's DH and the kids' first visit to DLR! :cool1: The kids are so excited and we have our countdown chain made and started.

We R going July 8th thru the 14th!!! SOOOO excited I love DL.....This will be my daughters first trip where she will be tall enough to ride everything!!!
2nd time flying....by the way does anyone know what kind of snacks you can get thru security at the airport??? I know no liquids....but what about actual food?

See you there! I've taken all kinds of food on. No liquid or gel substances though. I usually pack crackers, granola bars, cheesesticks, etc. All hard and dry type foods.

We will be going July 12-15 and staying in one of the 3 bdrm Villas at the Grand! I have only stayed in the 2 bdrms so am very excited to stay in the 3 bdrm!!

I'm happy to say we are going July 2-8th. First night will be at the Hyatt, then the following five nights at DLH!:dance3:

We're planning to go July 22-28! My boyfriend's first trip and his birthday is July 24! :D I want to take him to the Blue Bayou for a meal. :)

Just wanted to put this out there for those going in July...we have a kids suite booked at HOJO's, I believe the dates are in the 15th to 20th or 21st range. I'm going to be canceling this reservation, we decided to splurge for my oldest DD's graduation and stay at the DLH. I'm pretty sure they are sold out of the kids suites for this time frame, so if anyone is interested PM me and I will coordinate my canceling with you booking it. :thumbsup2

We"ll be there from July 18 until Aug. 1. However, we"ll only be able to spend part of that time at Disneyland as we are planning to visit San Fransisco and maybe San Diego as well. This will be our first trip to California/Disneyland and we are SO excited!

I don't think i listed my July Dates yet:confused3 Sorry if this is a repost.

We are going from July 21-28-Staying at the Park Vue Inn again for 5 nights and then at the DLH -For the first time ever-for the last two nights.:cool1:

We had res. at hojos that we cancelled because I was unsure about the walk and how often we would actually use the kid pool-which looks really fun but not sure it would get alot of use this time around, which was the main reason we booked in the first place. We might try it there in October when we return!!

Official countdown has begun... We are under 50 days till the beginning of the month! 54 days till our trip starts! How about you?

53 Days til we leave for Disney (which is not technically getting to Disney but I'm counting it)!!!!

I am going for my first time July 13-14 staying at DLH!! This was a last minute splurge added to a very huge vacation. I am headed to Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia but flying out of LA. I just thought I would start the vacation a day earlier and head to Disneyland. The entire month is a dream vacation, but I am a little worried about crowds that weekend.

Wow! That sounds amazing!

HeHe... I am trying to convince our daughter who is coming with us, to cancel the Vegas part of our summer road trip and just move from the Park Vue over to the Disneyland Hotel for 2 nights too!! We stayed back in 2008 before the big renovation and I realllllly want to stay again!

We added a day to the start of our trip. We will still be at DLR the same days, but we are now leaving on the 21st and stopping at the Reagan Library on the way to see D23's Treasures of the Disney Archives. We found a package deal for breakfast/tickets/room at a hotel down there. If we can see it on Saturday afternoon then we can leave Simi Valley Sun morning and be at DLR probably Sunday mid morning. :goodvibes

That sounds like fun, Pinkbudgie! We are driving down the coast this visit, and are spending a couple days in Santa Barbara before we head to Anaheim. It's been a long time since I've been down that portion of the coast. and I'm really looking forward to it.
