What is a bobble bottle is it like a water filter bottle? Where did you stay at Niagara Falls and did you have a view of the Falls We are booked into the Embassy suites. Any advice you could give me on Niagara falls would be greatly appreciated
Yes, Bobble bottles are water filter bobbles. The filter is attached to the um...part you drink out of? So it filters the water as you drink it. They make water taste SO MUCH BETTER. I highly recommend it. I bought mine at Old Navy, but you can get them at Target too.
Since I live 1.5 hrs from the Falls, I actually visit there quite often. Unlike a lot of other Torontonians who are kind of sick of the Falls, I LOVE IT!
Well...I can't tell you much about accomodations since I've only spent a night once, and we stayed pretty far from the Falls because we didn't have the money to splurge. The best thing about getting a Fallsview room is the convenience of location. I mean, all the tourist spots are within walking distance anyways, but it's always great to be THAT close to your hotel for a mid-day break because it will get VERY HOT.
Because everything is within walking distance around the Falls, I recommend you not to drive. If you want to visit the Fallsview casino, it's about...a 15min walk away. Driving around there will be super hectic because you're not going very far, but the roads can get confusing and you'll be stuck in traffic for at least 30mins.
If you want to visit the butterfly conservatory, the giant flower clock, or the whirlpools, then driving is a good idea because they're a little farther away, and parking is FREE.
I know there's a pass you can buy that includes the Maid of the Mist boat ride, the film at Bedrock Center and the Behind the Falls experience. There's also A Fun Pass sold on Clifton Hill that is ABSOLUTELY worth it, if only just for the Sky Wheel and the Ripley museum. I highly recommend you buy that. The best time to visit Clifton Hill is in the evening. Most of the attractions close well past midnight, so you should take advantage of the lower crowds and cooler temperatures.
Skylon Tower isn't worth it, I wouldn't recommend doing that. Pretty much everything I've described can be done within a day, but spreading it out gives you more time to just chill in your room. I heard the waterpark is also pretty nice, but don't have any experience with it.
I hope this helps! I'm happy to answer any more questions you have.
I bought another pair of Sanuks yesterday. It's pretty much my 3-day budget, but it's worth it! Also, bought a really cute top...
Bought some lunch and dinner food today and will most likely be buying some food tomorrow.
