So true, Daisybelle! But I won't be one of them. I live near the beach and in July it can still be a little on the cold side.
Yesterday was a bitter cold. More like what we experience in January. In fact, it snowed in some of our local mountains. And it was cold today, too. I am ready for some warmth. So I won't be one of those lamented about the heat.
The only heat I really can't tolerate is the Santa Anna winds that come in September/October. That's is when So. Cal. is in danger of wildfires. That heat is dry and windy and there is no relief from it even when the sun sets. the sweltering heat will last through the night, to carry on to the next day. That kind of heat doesn't usually hit in July. Thank goodness!
