I am looking forward to meeting some of you at the DisMeet on the 20th. This really has a been a fun group and I can't wait to hear about everyone's trips.

days of cleaning, packing, laundry, checking and re-checking, yelling at the kids and husband, making sure we have our food bag, entertainment bag, toy bag, book bag, lanyards (because each kid can't have only ONE!), taking care of the squeal under my hood, dustbustering my car and dusting the inside.

Sorry for the meltdown. I needed that! Phew, I feel better now.

Off to my chores. The light is at the end of the tunnel and it's even better knowing we'll be at my happy place for TWO WHOLE WEEKS! Yahoo!!!!!!!

Only a few more days before we go and I'm just not into it yet! YIKES!

I think due to all the upheavel and I still don't know if it's DH or Grandma that is coming with us. He has until Wednesday to make up his mind. We have things to DO and depending on the answer will change the way we do things.

Is it bad that I feel like we are just going to wing it...so much for having lots of prepared plans. LOL! I feel like I have no clue what I'm doing.

Then throw the monorail thing into the mix (sorry guys, it was us! Disney always seems to announce some HUGE change the timeframe we are going).

Ah...well...maybe I will be getting excited by Frdiay. I haven't even remotely begun to pack.

Everything will be fine. I think we build up our trips in our minds that we get anxious it just won't live up to our expectations. At least I know I do that sometimes

As for your daughter, I am exactly like her ... I also hate the sun (direct sunlight) because it hurts my skin. You've got some great reccomendations but I'd like to add one more thing: SPF 100.
Yes, 100! I used this when we went to Orlando for Universal ( harry potter baby!) and I never got burnt. It's also great because it's for 'sport' people so it has the sweatproof/waterproof bonuses
I forget the brand but it comes in a 3.4 or 4ounce bottle (slightly small) and can be a tad pricey (I found it at a walgreens), but for me, worth every penny. We plan to buy some more if we can find it

I've never seen it that high before, but I would look for it!! It is hard to keep her from burning. Thanks for the info!

Last year, it was bad. I had to have DH drive me over to my mom's house. (24, and I needed my mom. Don't think that'll ever go away. )

Yeah, that read wrong. It's more of a "will DD hold up that day". It's late in our trip and we'll be at DHS for ADRs at H&V at 8:00AM. I truly am hoping to make it.

I was j/k, sorry! It's our first full day of vacation. In the beginning I was a bit unsure for that reason. Well that and my dh isn't into Disney like I am. And not at all into message boards, Facebook, all the fun stuff. I may actually leave him and dd to ride Figment for the 4,279th time and come myself


Let's just say in the past 4, maybe 5, months he's gone from listening indulgently when I speak of this trip to more like 'shut up I don't want to hear it' when he sees me coming. Now, he's never actually said it, but I do know that is what he is thinking

PS: I really do love Figment, so I'm not Figment bashing

Pills work great for that. I actually may have to call my DR and get some anti anxiety pills for our flight down. They are great because they take the edge off without making you loopy.

MY DH loves Disney, but I am dragging him to the meet too. When I first mentioned it I knew he wasnt' listening because he said sounds good. Then I really explained I was meeting people from the "online" world and he was like "Oh" He doesn't get the whole DISboards or FB thing.

Okay, a bit late since you are already on your way to the magic (if not already there!). I would love to arrange for a meet, but I think it may be a tad too late and I've never experienced a meet, let alone try to put one together (though I would!) in such a short amount of time. Perhaps if someone else would like to? I could help
