DD's have a GREAT ped in Drum I seriously that woman! This guy though got under my skin. Like he was patting me on the head or something. The civi doc I took her to the following day though, he actually examined Gillian and gave her drops to keep bacteria out of her eyes. We are still doing cleanings with salt water and her eyes aren't oozing like they were and the glue on her eyes in the morning is reducing

Have a safe trip tomorrow! Drive safe and watch out for any crazies on the interstate!

Today we ended up at the Natural History Museum....arrived at the Smithsonian station and the Folklife festivel was still going full swing. It was packed and HOT! 102 in my car when we got back to the metro station. Went and bought a plastic pool before we came back to my mom's house so the girls and I could cool off! Got a txt from DH @ around midnight last night....He has left the FOB he was at so HOPEFULLY he's in Kuwait right now awaiting his next flight to the US! I'm hoping he's here by Sunday or Monday at the latest!

I guess I kinda made it seem like I thought all military docs are that way, they're really not! My OB's were great...especially the Capt that delivered my DS...she was fantastic! (Wasn't, however, thrilled with the Col that said I couldn't have an epidural....a man of course...)

Glad she's getting better! Hope your DH gets home SOON!!

8 days to go for DISNEY

I'm doing my final packing today. We are heading down to my sister's house tonight. She's an hour and a half closer to the airport. Our flight leaves Manchester at 6:40am.

I can't believe it's almost here!!!

We leave tomorrow!!!

Us too, I am soooo excited

I am!

Today I'm doing my single digit dance!!!!

YAY for you!!!! 8 more days for us!!!

It is just 2 more days for us!!!!!!

We leave tomorrow morning on AA at 6:25 am. My boss gave me a company internet air card so I can be e-mailed if they have any emergency issues, so he says. I think it was because I was complaining about the 10.00 a day internet charge. Thanks Boss!!

I will take Kavick our American Eskimo Spitz to my Boss's house this evening aroung 5:30PM. (He takes care of our dog when we go on Vacation) Get DD nails done, go out to eat because I will not have the time to cook and then go home and drive each other crazy until tomorrow morning.

DD want to spend the night at the DFW Grand Hyatt, so all we have to do is hop on the tram to get to our gate. It sound like a great idea, BUT!!!! 195.00 for convience, WOW!!! I don't think so.

I work a half day today, WELL I have been work half day's since July 1st so really I have been on vacation since then.

We leave tomorrow morning on AA at 6:25 am. My boss gave me a company internet air card so I can be e-mailed if they have any emergency issues, so he says. I think it was because I was complaining about the 10.00 a day internet charge. Thanks Boss!!

We are heading out this afternoon!! Still have to pack the rental van, pick up my niece, and finish up a few minor things. Today is Erica's 8th birthday so we will celebrate with my sister when we get to Cincinnati this evening. Can't wait to get to Disney tomorrow!!!

Ok, I am sooo trying not to panic right now! I was just reading about ALL the brazilian tour groups at Disney right now, and the complete chaos they are causing! Ok.....breathe.....breathe! I don't do well when people are rude, and push and cut in line! Breathe.....Breathe..... Has anyone else heard anything?

Everyone has a different opinion/view on things. It seems that January and July are the times for the Brazilian tour groups, so I've dealt with them in January. I never really had a problem with them. I think they stand out more, like any group of people all dressed in the same color shirt, traveling together would. In January, it seemed like a lot of teens to me, so I think any group of teens might seem rude or obnoxious. Inconsiderate of others maybe, but then I find that can be said for a lot of people. Unfortunately these tour groups just stand out more. I hope you don't encounter any problems. Focus on enjoying your vacation!

Hi from DISNEY!!!! Our trip has been AWESOME so far! We got upgraded to a tower room at the Contemporary WOOHOO!!!!!!

Had Sammie's birthday celebration at CRT tonight and it was amazing!!!!

Free wifi in the lobby of Contemporary Resort so thought I'd pop in to say hi Will be doing a trip report when we get back!!!

I wouldn't worry about the tour groups. IMHO, their impact gets overplayed. Yes, if you see a group of 50+ teens in the same color shirt heading for Splash Mountain, it might be best to stop back later, but other than that, just enjoy your vacation. And for the "rude" part, I've been privy to more rudeness from hot, tired, and grumpy Americans than tropically-tempered Brazilians. And I always go in July.

Relax, breathe, and get ready to enjoy your time at WDW.
