I'm thinking 15? But I am too lazy to count, too. I think we just have way too much time on our hands. Maybe next WDW trip I'll leave some planning til the month before.

I GOT MICKEY MAIL!!!!! (Yes, I'm yelling but it's a happy, jumping up & down 5 year old screeching excited yell).

Not only that but my Tiger Cub (Cub Scouts) parents were so very kind to give me a Thank You gift of Disney Gift Cards, which were brought over today!!!!!

Woo Hoo!!! The only downside is I got the luggage tags & remembered the thread of "how do they operate" since it's not obvious & I looked in the back of my book, only 4 inserts when I have 6 luggage tags. LOL!!! Not that big of a deal but still.

NOW I'm REALLY going to Disney World....or at least I'm pretty sure I am. Hee Hee!!!!

we only got 4 of the "fancy" luggage tags... but we will have 8 suitcases to check... These aren't the official magical express tags are they??

I think i read that those are coming later???

Will they automatically send two for each of us (4 of us)

They have been sending one per person anymore. I called yesterday to get 2 more. We needed 5 they will send u anything u need. They are yellow if that helps.

Staying at the Carribbean Beach Resort 7/30-8/6 with three kids, making us a party of 8! We have all of our reservations done and Ill post those tomorrow!!!

Our third time since last May going, first time for my three nieces and nephews! so excited to take it slower and see it through a childs eyes!!

Somehow I missed this post early in the AM

We had our first adventure last night - oh, the joy of family trips.

As far as I can tell, there was, uh, a conversation between my brother and his wife (where the end result was that she went to bed and he hopped on Facebook chat to vent). My SIL announced YESTERDAY that there was no way that the dinner times we had planned were appropriate because of their daughter/my niece's bedtime. She's 9 months old. That bedtime is 8pm, come heck or high water and there will be no change and no deviation from that bedtime no way no how.

Ha. This only appeared yesterday. So my brother was in total PANIC mode - and complaint mode - so he hopped online to vent. He and I looked and there were earlier times available for all (!!!) the late dinners, so we made new reservations. I called my parents to update them and, like me, their response was "oh okay," with a side of "do they still think that they're really in control of what a baby does? She's gonna do what she's gonna do!"

Then, due to some weird situation, I had dinner reservations for my parents for one night, my brother has a reservation for me and my husband, and my parents have a reservation for my bro and SIL... so I ended up being the middleman, asking my parents to change that dinner reservation. I screwed it up three times so finally the four of us (our parents, my brother, me) all ended up on Google chat to get it all sorted out.

It's SUCH an "alls well that ends well!" situation, I must say. I can't believe that we were able to get appropriate times for our dinners a month away. The fates were surely smiling on us last night.

We'll see, anyway. I'm not sure how smart bringing a 9 month old to Disney in July really is... but it's no one's first (okay, the niece's first, but she doesn't REALLY count at this point! ) trip and it is no one's last trip. There will be no marching through the parks from open to close anyway. And they're smart enough to rent a car for easy hotel returns for naps.

If that's the worst strife, then I think we're getting out REALLY lucky!!




....I did get a wheelchair reserved for the trip, too. Even my TA told me I should!

Glad it all worked out.

24 days til we leave for WDW!!!

DD is keeping us all on our toes lately....yesterday, she just piped up here & there, "Mommy, 4 weeks from today we will be at Disney World!" and "Mommy, at this time in 4 weeks, I will look like a princess, and I will be riding Dumbo!!" She sure is a smart little thing She's been planning her car ride out also. By the time we leave, she'll have her entire schedule mapped out for the trip there and back That's my little planner!!

That is cute. My DS5 is my little planner and loves our countdown calender.

You only get one now unless you request more. I automatically ask for more now since we will be taking so many bags

I wasn't expecting Mickey Magical Express mail for another week or so but it came today. But it is wrong! On the return flight it says no flight information provided. What do you think is the best way to handle the situation? Should I call now and make some corrections or wait until we are at the resort and let the concierge make the arrangements for the return flight? WWYD?

They did this to me as well--they had us leaving at 5:55 AM and not 5:55 PM. They told me we could take care of it once we arrived. However, you might want to call. There seem to be different answers to the same questions sometimes.

Thanks Jim... i didn't get any yellow tags yet... I got some pretty fancy hard plastic tags with my voucher book -- colorful and "3-D".. can't remember what they call that --- anyway --- is that something official for ME?? or just for looks?? I will call and ask for more official ME tags... but if these that i got are just for looks - then it's not a big deal.... i just want all of my tags picked up by ME and want to get what i need to make that happen.
