Everyone's trips are approaching fast! I'm thinking about shopping too, for those of you who have daughters anxious for a trip to the outlet mall!

I get so jealous when I see other people's tickers at one week or one month. July, JUST GET HERE!

Question, and I hope ya'll can help. I am going to Hollywood & Vine for the first time. I'm a little nervous because I haven't heard many people talk about it, other than for breakfast or lunch with the characters. Does anyone have any reviews for dinner? And how the Fantasmic package works out? I don't know anything about it.

We have never eaten at H & V and I was tempted to try it too - but I have read some very unfavorable reviews. I usually am careful with reviews, unless they all go one direction - and in this case they did. We have never done the Fantasmic package, and honestly - I would not pay for it. If you go to the later show, and don't mind standing in line, we have gotten very good seats. The other option is to wait in line for the earlier show, and just plan on sitting for about an hour once you get in. My understanding is that the Dining package seats are at the far side and you still have to get to the show a bit early, I prefer to be in the middle section for Fantasmic. Just my thoughts. Hopefully, someone else who has experienced both will chime in.

Woo Hoo!!!!!!

I'm at 100 days from when we actually GET to Disney but you know what -- I'm just going to count it as double digits too because we actually start the day before since we are driving down and I'm tired of waiting!!!

See, this is why I love disboards....my friends and coworkers keep looking at me funny when I talk about how many days til we leave! I even posted on facebook when I got to double digits....and I got a bunch of "lol"s

That's OK, other than the other disney people on my FB when I posted about free dining I did a little mystery about it and got others going "what is this all about?" they were confused (although I did put I got free dining at Disney World) ... since I put something along the lines of eating with bears, ducks & (can't remember the 3rd although Royalty would have worked but I thought it was another animal).

Since we have Crystal Palace, Donald's breakfast & the EPCOT Princess breakfast booked now.

One time my family (years ago) were given a week at a Time share... It may have been Westgate, I can't remember. The place was really nice. The only thing is they will try to sell to you once they know you aren't invested. But, just say no! I am sure you will enjoy it no matter what!!

Well, luckily we aren't obligated to do a presentation. I've heard horror stories about them. The greatest majority of the reviews do seem to be focused on the sales presentation. I told DH if they bother us too much, he can just say "oh, we can't afford it, you see, I just lost my job. The only reason we're even able to come on this vacation is because my parents paid for it"! which is totally untrue, but they don't need to know that!

I felt bad for my parents. The first trip we took to FL, they got hooked into a time share meeting for free Sea World tickets. This sounded great for a rather poor family that scraped for years just to go. That was in 1985.

We stayed at our friend's time share in 1991. It was a different time share than the one from '85. Can you believe it was the same pushy rep though!! oh my parents were furious!!! But, they got out fast, and we were on our way! lol.

July 23-30: WDW with kids

Staying at All-Star Movies 23-26, and CBR 27-30. Visiting all four parks plus TL. I just finished up ADRs.

Actually, I was wrong! I hadn't looked at my countdown, just looked, and it's actually 89 days today!! We're driving down, but I'm counting the day we leave because the roadtrip is part of the fun for me!

95 DAYS UNTIL WE LEAVE FOR WDW!


Thanks to all the recient drama though it almost didnt happen again THIS year for us! See if they couldnt come up with a compramise and the government had shut down, all leave (including R&R for service members overseas) would have been turned down. I was up till well after midnight last night watching the news and calling/texting friends to announce that our pay wouldnt be stopped and R&R was still a go

I'm so excited!!! I got mail from Disney in the mailbox today! I so wasn't expecting that since I figured I wasn't going to get anything until my 45 days, etc... It's a personalized booklet with "Keeping Your Magic Right on Track" monorail picture to open it.

It has small map with all the park maps too...very cool. I haven't read through everything yet since I just got home from work but it has.

Of course, this must mean Mickey thinks I need to do more planning (actually Mickey wants me to buy more stuff since I just did a flip through and it saw I have Park Hopper but no Water Park and Disney thinks I should add that! ).

July 21-31. Pop Century and Wyndham Bonnet Creek split stay. Not sure I may have already posted this, I have lost track. We will be a group of 17 this year. So excited I can hardly wait, start the double digit dance on Tuesday April 12th.
