I need to check hours.. I want to try and do at least one EMH, and a rope drop!

I love EMH in July. My DH and I are such night people, so it works well! Rope drop on the other hand... not sure I will ever see one of those.

I got the Chili color. We're big IU fans, (red & white/cream & crimson) so we're kinda dorky, everything we get seems to be red I really like it alot, it's small enough & yet big enough, and there's tons of little compartments & pockets. My kids are a little older, so all I really need to carry is a few snacks for my DD, the little snack queen, and various little odds & ends. I love that it has a holder specifically for a bottle of water, and I can wear it cross body and keep it in front of me. We'd already discussed ahead of time, that DH is going to carry all the credit cards. We'll just add in there anything with a magnetic strip AP....should have figured that one out! I spent 5 years in the military, so I'm usually good at figuring out acronyms, but that one threw me for a loop! Wish we went often enough to get AP's!

I like my Bagallinni too. I have the Messenger Bag. I used to think the water holder was really spiffy.... until I kept getting wet spots all over me from the condensation! I wish the holder wasn't mesh on mine. It would work better otherwise.

Hoping they add some extra fantasmic shows that week. I noticed that the hours for AK were changed to close at 8 instead of 7. SWEET!

I checked earlier this week and there were no changes at that point.

For the week that I'm there they changed DHS one night and added a few more nights of Fantasmic.
I didn't check if they added parades.

Ok came up with this ... I can change the outline color of the name/mickey head to whatever you like (or no outline if you prefer ...) I can also get rid of the drop shadow if you don't like it ... I like drop shadows

I love the Chili color!! It looks really functional. I did consider it but I think I saw the magnet on that one. I guess they all have magnets - I am just glad I was able to remove them on mine. DH did end up carrying everything by the end of the trip but it got to be a pain for us. I have been trying to "downsize" my bag every year. My kids are older and I make them carry their own stuff now - otherwise I look like a pack mule

We started off in 2004 with our once in a lifetime trip - and have been back every year since. It is a vacation that works for our family, and the APs make it a lot more cost effective.

We LOVE night time EMH - nothing like 1am in the MK!!! I would love to see a rope drop, but can never get the troops moving that early. We did see rope drop during our first trip when the kids were much younger and also when DD marched in MK with her high school band a few years ago.

I'd like late EMH, because we don't have breakfast plans most mornings. We have no expire water park tix left from 2007, so we'll do that a few times in the a.m. We also plan on hanging around the hotel a few mornings and just going swimming or something.

I liked my Bagallini messenger, too, until the seatbelt-like strap rubbed my neck raw while I was wearing a tank top. If you see my pictures from the times I used it when it was hot out, by the end of the day dh has it in every picture LOL

It must made me glad I bought blue

I still bring it, but mostly use this little coach bag with a long strap that I got at the outlet. It doesn't hold much, but all I need in it really are my tix, wallet, little bottle of hand sanitizer and meds. I don't really carry much else with me. DH usually has the cameras and can fit other small stuff in the camera bag/fanny pack

Yeah... we do have some AM breakfasts, and a night we want to do RS dinner, so ... I'm not sure how those nights will add up, but I'm hoping! I'd like to do EMH at MK, so I should probably check that out on the site, see if it's possible before getting excited!

Rope drop- I'm sure I can manage to make a few of those- No kids. Last year we liked sleeping in, but I'll make it work! ;-)

We had those old tickets too -and used them up at the water parks the last few years. I think we only have a single left now. Not sure who is going to go alone - lol.

I wish I could get away with a tiny bag - but no such luck. I used to carry an Ameribag, the strap was wider and didn't bother me so much, but used to slide off my shoulders. It sure held a lot though. It is good to know the messenger bag does not have magnets.

AK is much cooler in the evenings!

I have added you to the list on page 72 - no apologies necessary- we were all newbies once. It is most likely a specific time for you. There are a few dining events like Hoop de Doo Review and the Luau that are the same time for everyone, but most ADRs are a "reservation" time.

I don't wear tank tops, so I guess I don't have this issue. Plus, as long as I have something with me that isn't "girly" looking... my DH will carry it for 1/2 or more of the time.... gotta luv that! I used to carry backpacks to these types of places, but now my messenger bag goes everywhere with me.

We will have one day of MK EMH until 2am and I am hoping the kids will hang for some of it, with an afternoon rest back at the hotel ... I want to ride the big rides in the dark !!! Plus we can all ride BTMRR now so we can experience together in the dark

I am getting SO EXCITED!!!! My hubby will be home in 27 days and I CANNOT wait to give him a big old hug!!!!! My kids are ALL disney all the time! Disney music, disney movies... talking about rides ... remembering their favorites! I love it!

I don't wear tank tops, so I guess I don't have this issue. Plus, as long as I have something with me that isn't "girly" looking... my DH will carry it for 1/2 or more of the time.... gotta luv that! BTMRR goes faster in the dark - at least my DD is convinced of that! Anticipation is so much fun!!!
