July 2011:Calling all planners-Post your dates & Resort

Finally... here are my ADR's

7/10 4:30 Via Napoli
7/11 11:00 Yak & Yeti
7/11 5:10 Le Cellier
7/12 9:00 pm Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party
7/13 11:45 Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
7/13 4:40 Le Cellier
7/14 5:00 Ohana

I wear contacts in the parks with regular sunglasses (yes I often get them at the dollar stoe because I loose them so often lol). I also have transitions glasses. Not as strong as regular sunglasses, but they work in a pinch.:thumbsup2

I have never worn contacts, but am seriously thinking of trying them. I'm going to call around today and see how much a fitting would cost. Losing prescription sunglasses would be a big fear for me since I too lose sunglasses all the time.

:cool1: So I am excited to say my daughter and I are taking a trip July 8-12, staying at the Beach Club Villas! I haven't made any ADRs yet as I kind of last minute made these trip plans. I am going to surprise her this time:yay:

Ahh.. just made my first (and only) ADR

SOOOOO EXCITED!!!:banana::banana::banana:

7-24 50's Prime Time 6:00pm
7-27 LeCelliar 12:30pm DIL Birthday Celebration

Just a reminder, if anyone wants to post their ADRs, I will add them to the list. The list can be found on page 1 or page 41.........I know that some people have previously posted them, and if you have - let me know and I can look for them so you do not have to recopy. I just do not want to post them on the list without your ok.

I posted mine earlier. Please let me know if you need me to repost them!

In the thread I read about Packing cubes, it seemed that people did use them in duffle bags. But again, I have never actually used them. I am buying them based off of advice from the DIS. I would suggest doing a search on the topic and see what info you can find on the boards.

We ended up with packing folders from ebags. LOVE :lovestruc them! My husband is a chronic over-packer and will take up an entire large suitcase for 3 days, given the chance. The folders just made him do SO much better a job of packing!

I'm less than 2 months out! Monday is the 8 week mark!!!

Had the ultrasound on my leg. I have TWO calf tears. The doctor told me "no sandals, very comfortable shoes, and lots of breaks" for Disney this summer (he's a fan, too!). On the fence about wheelchair rental, you know? He said this is going to take "months" to heal, and I assume he means from the ultrasound date forward. I'm thinking about shopping for sandals that are more active in style, compared to things like flipflops or dress sandals, for our trip

It'll make Disney in July more interesting!

I also finished my clothes shopping (for now ;)). I have enough shorts and tank tops, at the moment. ;) We just need to buy more sunblock.

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've not been posting much.. as most of my trip is in June, I felt a bit of a 'fraud' being on the July thread too  !!

Not sure if I'd posted our July ADRs.. they are..

7/1 - 'Ohana - 6.30pm
7/2 - Le Cellier - 7pm
7/3 - Crystal Palace - 8.25am

I'm so incredibly excited for our honeymoon! everything is pretty much planned & booked - I've bought everything we need (new wardrobes for the newlyweds!), last few things to book with Disney are a private photopass portrait session & to add some champagne/strawberries to our Wishes Fireworks cruise :goodvibes

Btw about the sunglasses/contact lenses query... I wear contact lenses nearly every day - I make sure to bring plenty of spares to WDW.. I find the humidity/swimming/water rides can affect my eyes a lot!

Hope everyone is enjoying the planning :wizard:

Won't be getting Mickey Mail, well except for ME tags, because on May 2nd we bought into DVC and changed our trip to points instead of cash, so no package.

We purchased points last May and now I am trying to convince DH that we need to buy more:lmao:

We will be in Disney July 13 thru July 20, staying at the AKL for the first time. We are celebrating my dd high school graduation and my dh bday.

I am so much work to do but I find myself on these boards every night!!!:goodvibes

We are staying July 8 - 16. Can't wait!! It's been over a year! Way too long!!

Here I am. July 19 to 29 - AKL

:welcome: everyone. We love AKL:goodvibes and Popartgal we will be there at the same time. We arrive on the 21st at AKL Jambo.

Had the ultrasound on my leg. I have TWO calf tears. The doctor told me "no sandals, very comfortable shoes, and lots of breaks" for Disney this summer (he's a fan, too!). Ouch. Hoping for a speedy recovery!:wizard:

Hi everyone!! Getting close and I am getting WAY too excited!!! :-D The busy part of the school year is over for me and the next few weeks are study leave for the pupils who are sitting there exams so it's mainly prep time for the new timetable that will run for 3 weeks in June before the holidays. Then it's DISNEY!!!

Have my appointment made to get my minnie mouse manicure on the 8th July!! Airport hotel booked at this end!! I'm ready!!!! Not lost a pound though and not finding the motivation to stay away from the wine and snacks!! OOPS!!

Oh and totally agree about the friendliness in here. I got destroyed over on the family board the other week after posting an innocent comment. I'm not going to venture back!! EEK!!

Have a few ADRs confirmed. Just going to go with the flow with the others, we had the dining plan last year and found it quite restrictive having to plan everything round our meals. Anyway we have

7/11 8.10 Crystal Palace
7/12 12.50 Hollywood and Vine
7/16 Mickey's Backyard BBQ
7/17 3.50 Mama Melrose (Fantasmic Dinner Package)

Sooooooooooooo excited!!!

7/10 Ohana 6:15pm
7/11 Crystal Palace 8:05am
7/15 Wishes Dessert Party 9:00pm

I may try for a couple more ADRs but when it's really hot outside we don't eat a lot of big meals. Grazing and snacking at CS may suit us more. Of course, ADRs would get us out of the heat now and again.:confused3

Just realized I posted incorrect dates. Our dates should be Pop Century July 3rd-5th and AKV- Kidani July 5th-12th.

You and ZOOMAMA are both at Crystal Palace at the same time! Thanks for posting the ADRs. I know what you mean about the dining plan, I don't think I could do it every trip.

7/10 Ohana 6:15pm
7/11 Crystal Palace 8:05am
7/15 Wishes Dessert Party 9:00pm

It is hard to balance the TS meals, you can always try walk ups - we have been lucky in the past if we ate at odd times, like 2-3pm for a late lunch early dinner or at the less popular restaurants or resorts. However, with the free dining pins that were floating around I wonder if the restaurants will be more crowded.......

I added your ADR on page 41 - look for Miss Mo at Crystal Palace!

I posted your restaurants - but I could not find times....so if you would like me to add the times, just let me know!

My Momma is giong back to VA today. We had a good visit and she took me to Khols to buy clothes as my belated Mother's Day present so I got shorts, capri's and shirts :thumbsup2 The day before was Meghan's Birthday and she :lovestruc her cake, although I had NO clue how to cut the sucker up :confused3 I did my best but the slices were HUGE :rotfl: While I was picking up he cake earlier in the day though, I found out my Facebook and email were hacked into. I got my email account back and promptly changed the pass word but am havving a slower time in dealing with Facebook, doesn't help that they dont have an actual customer service line where you can talk to real people. Either way I'm NOT going to let it get in my planning way!

My mom actually thinks we need to pack an outfit for EACH day :rotfl: Were going to be doing laundry there so I think brining 8 outfits would be OVERKILL! The girl's costumes came in the mail on Friday. Tried Gillian's and Hailey's on them and they fit perfectly! Gillian LOVES her Snow White in rag's dress and Hailey to kept going back and forth over her dress has decided she loves it! It's just enough pink she says! I couldn't get Meghan to try on her dress as yet though. So tonight I'm dragging the stuff out from under the bed (again) and Re-packing our bags....I'm hoping I can find som of those packing cubes at Target today to give me a small hand in keeping it all organized. We've decided to take a cab from my mom's house to the airport (she's going to call the cab driver who drove her to and from work when her foot was broken). So I need to set asside money for that one.
