July 2011:Calling all planners-Post your dates & Resort

Are you taking Japanese classes? If so, that is neat. My DD Midori has been taking classes for the past 8 years. We go back home every other year to visit family for about a month. I live in Komaki, about 20 miles from Nagoya. I was born in Setagaya Tokyo about 1/2 mile from the Yuraksho train station.

Mmm yes, I took Japanese class at university for 2 semesters. I am now taking a small community class so that I can continue to learn and not forget.
That must be amazing! We've been to Japan last year for a cultural study abroad, I miss it very much!
I know Nagoya, that's where Toyota headquarters is located :D

In other news ... it's my birthday today :cheer2:
DH woke me up EARLY ... okay well noon but I went to bed late :( Only 6ish hours of sleep when my body is used to 8+ hours. I know many of you run on less! Lol I'm just more concerned because if my body doesn't get its sleep, I get sick ... and that's the last thing I need for our trip to WDW!

My dh and dd were sitting on the porch at Boardwalk yesterday. A guy walks up to them, hands dh a box and says "I'm Eddie, I'm with the company. Here's a free gift." It said it was a snowglobe on the box.

We opened it this morning, it's a beautiful 40th anniversary snow globe that they sell for $50! I've never gotten pixie dust before (well, I still didn't). It is beautiful. I just hope it doesn't break in the suitcase on the way home.

That is SOOOOOO awesome!!!

Well - Happy Birthday to you. :banana:My Birthday was July 16th, the last day at Disney.

From Tokyo you take the Shinkansen to Nagoya, then you take the Chuo line to Komaki and then take the Peach Line to the Station by my house, or take the Meititshu subway from Nagoya to Komaki and then the Peach Line to the Station where Apita Grocery Store is and walk about 150 feet. My house is on the corner by the Children's playground.

It's a small world isn't it?

Just got back to my mom's house today. We had a GREAT time (even with the heat and the BTG's) and it was so nice to meet the wonderful ladies in Epcot on the 20th! I just looked at my photo pass pictures (and edited some of them) and they look awesome! I won't be home when my CD comes though (at least I don't think I will) but will post them up as soon as I can! DH had a GREAT time and even said he want's go to back NEXT YEAR (although not in July lol)!!!!! We are thinking about going down in November for Gillian's 4th birthday.

SO glad you had a great R&R!!!!! The guys (and us!!) deserve it!!!

We are hoping to go next October for Alex's birthday LOL We will probably miss each other by a few weeks again if it works out!

Enjoy the rest of R&R :) How many more months will you have left once he goes back? We still have 6 months left :(

Happy Birthday!!!!!

:bday: party:
Thank you very much! I am the ripe old age of 24

Thank you very much ^_^ Ooooh HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! :cheer2:

I'm familiar with all lines until the Peach Line lol. Whooh! I'd totally be able to find you once we go to Japan again ... in 2 years :rolleyes1
I miss Japan so bad, you're so lucky to have family there

Quite a small world, yes indeed :upsidedow

Good Morning- I would attach some pictures of my family in Japan, but I have a very difficult time transfering from Photo Bucket to Dis. It just takes to long and then it does not turn out

Ah, it's so quiet :( Either everyone has already been or is there.

Course, there's a few of us stragglers ^_^

I'm 'studying' for my midterm right now ... listening to an audio file lecture :)

So excited for all you July-ers who are going soon. It seems like a lot of our number are there right now and having a grand ole time.

We have decided we are probably not going to stay at WDW after our cruise is over next July. We could go on a cruise on the Dream for four nights over Thanksgiving for a little more than it's going to cost for four days at WDW. However, things change all the time and we haven't put down the deposit yet. We'll see when the time comes. :rotfl:

Good Morning Amunet and P 13 - do you guys have room in your suit case for Midori and myself. We are having WDW withdraws. So, we are going to Six Flags - Aug 13th.

Have a Great Mickeycation.:rotfl::rotfl2::lmao::banana::dance3::cheer2:

Thanks for the suit case offer. We have never rode the Titan - so this time we are going to brave and do it. It's not like any of the rides at WDW so we do not know what to expect. We always say maybe next time, repeat, repeat for the past 4 years, so this time no excuse.

I am scared :scared1:

Carrie,
I would put it in your carry on or make it your carry on.

NO! DO NOT DO THIS!

If it has more than 3.1oz of liquid, it will be confiscated! It's considered a liquid and one of the most "oops" items surrendered at TSA checkpoints!

New hardwood floors tomorrow. New job for husband tomorrow. My life is totally upside down at the moment!
