A while back I cancelled almost all of our ADR's, family decided they didn't want to be held to a schedule of more than what parks on what days. Well this morning they are all frantically on their laptops trying to schedule soe ADR's for 17 people. I can't believe that they have changed their minds. I am spending a whole vacation grand gathering with these people and they are CRAZY. Guess I'll take the DGkids and act like I don't know the rest of them. Probably every QS meal we eat they are going to complaining. Is everyones family NUTS or is it just mine. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

On the upside I leave in jus 10 days but don't arrive at WDW for 12 days.

My family is pretty nuts, too. I remember when you said you were cancelling. Did any of them manage to get any ADR's at all? I'm just curious

I understand the schedule thing....did you ever hear anything back from Disney? Are there alternatives for DD on the CRT menu? I know that the Disney chefs can be accomodating, so maybe if you talked to your server they could come up with something that you all would like for lunch.......just a thought....

To All - We made it to CBR and was able to get into our room at 11:15 am. Wow!!! Martinique building 21 and I am very pleased with the room and the location.

I will get with you guy's later, need to meet Alamo shuttle to pick up rental car from Hess Car Center. Going to make a Wal Mart run and then return the car at 5:00 PM.

Got off the plane at 10:15, went to Magical Express- got right on - arrived at the resort at 11:00 AM. - pretty quick and CM'S were super, wished me a happy birthday.

Yes. Everyone's family is nuts. It's NOT just your's!

My future vacations will JUST be me and the husband. For at least a couple of vacations!

I like to go with the extended family once in a while, because we do all have fun. I enjoy it more, though, when we don't have to worry about what everyone wants to do and can just kind of enjoy our day however we want

I read something earlier online about monorails not running later than one hour after park closing from Epcot starting on 7/11/11 and from MK starting on 8/1/11, basically meaning they won't be running during or after evening EMH's and people that are at EMH will have to take busses or boats to their destination. I guess if you are at BLT or CR you could walk. Has anyone else seen or heard this? I got it in a tweet from @wdwmagic, I think.

I did find the answer to the monorail question. There's a 10-page (so far) thread about it on the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies board if anyone is interested.

Checked in and feeling the magic already! Activated annual passes last night and took in a few hours of Magic Kingdom. Hollywood Studios today and the crowds are moderate it seems. Not as bad as Christmas and Easter but there are lots of folks here!

I would not be surprised if they WOULD let you order off the kids menu - if that is what you like, why not!!! You are paying the same price anyway.....

July 9th - Departed DFW at 6:15 AM - Arrived MCO 10:15 AM, (Remember Texas is one hour behind) Walked over to Magical Express and got right on and left within 15 minutes. Arrive at CBR at 11:00 AM and received a very warm welcome and was assigned a room immediately.

Unpacked and then called Alamo and arranged a pick up at 12:00 Noon. On time for pick up and went to Hess's Car Center and picked up a rental. Drove to
Wal-Mart and bought groceries and brought them back to the resort. Unloaded and took the car back and received a ride back to the resort. (Special deal from American Airlines. 32.00 dollars for the day, but I did not need it for a full day, needed to use it and then dump it).

Midori and I walked the property and then she crashed. (Since Midori went to bed last night at 9:30 PM and woke up at 12:00 midnight so she could start getting ready. Midori wanted to go to DTD but I asked her to take a nap and we would go swimming at the resort. Midori said ok and was out within a minute.

We will start with Magic Kingdom tomorrow, meet the Diser’s at 2 PM at Dole.

DD and I fly out of BWI tomorrow!!! Whoo hoo!! I've printed our boarding passes, I've got all of our paperwork ready to go, cameras/blackberries are charging...and I still haven't packed our suitcases!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful time at the World!! See you around my girl Cindy's house!
