Actually having the baby with you might not be so bad.... ie Rider Pass. It is great and you can take up to 3 or 4 family members with you.

Well, I'll be in a wheelchair, too, so for many of the MK rides, we'll already have that anyway!

I have no plans on abandoning my niece to the sole custody of her parents but I also have no plans to arrange every minute of my trip around a baby. Someone else pointed out that baby rarely follows the schedule everyone sets out for her, anyway, with mealtime, diaper change time... etc.

Oh well.

I've packed most of my clothes so tonight I'm going to be packing up the other essentials suitcase. Glasses wipes, make up, etc. I kind of have to do it tonight because I've been asked to sit in on an interview tomorrow afternoon. They didn't renew the Latin teacher's contract at our district's other high school so they someone interviewing for it from Pennsylvania. The HR director said that he didn't feel right interviewing someone without someone else there to ask some questions about actually teaching Latin. I feel kind of important but it is going to take a couple of hours out of my day. Oh well. I need a new colleague because I can't do it all by myself.

I am throughly embarrassed to say this, but I changed Sci-Fi again. I really had a good reason this time. We're only at DHS one day and I know DD will NOT want to miss the parade. I didn't think about that when I made a 2:30 ADR, so I changed it to 3:45. You don't have to change it Wendy, because no one else is in the vicinity that day anyway!

Right now, write down the disney reservation website and the all ears website. That's the life preserver, no need to actually perform CPR!

I do have a tracking number, I've been following it along in the USPS system....and I got an email back from UT, which made me feel a whole lot better about it. Their customer service is great! The package is still in limbo, but they're sending me scanned copies of them, which makes me feel better at least!

That does help! But I think the burden on this one should fall on USPS. If you've been tracking it, and it disappeared in their hands... Have you tried calling USPS back and asking for a supervisor?

I suspect there are things she doesn't want me to know more about than her (like, who wants their child to have more experience as a patient than they do?), but oh well. On the good news front: my husband got a job offer last week and I was really upset with him about it. (Only me, right?) I don't want two car payments at one time!

Did he take the new offer back to current position for another counter? Car payments stink, don't blame you!

Whoo-hoo! Just did my online check-in for July 4th weekend! I know, we're nuts. And it is SO HOT. We're FL people, so we should be used to it, but dang! Hydration and breaks, hydration and breaks.

See you there, with all the other millions! I read an article one day this week that said MK was the number 1 best place for 4th of July fireworks. Hope no one else did!

Well it took 45 minutes but I think the Magical Express is finally sraightened out. If not I may jus have them take a van from the airport, really tired of messing with it. Oh well, it is going to be a great vacation once it gets going.

I would send her happy rear to AllEars and let her look at the menu's there. I know we all get the "Disney Helper" bug and it get's the better of us, but if you don't really like the mom or the child I say give them a direction and let them fend for themselves.

And on a side note.... all this talk of CP made me really depressed because we have eaten there with the kids since they have been goingSo I booked. an ADR for our last day 8/2 and got the time I wanted 11:45

I feel that way almost daily now - everytime I go to Walmart and pick up something for the trip........

Haven't even done that yet. I looked through my Disney tub, and it looks like we're pretty set. I might have Brad run by the dollar store for more ponchos, and once I consult my packing list I might change my mind, and get the girls clothes out, and . and... Wait. Not going there. We'll deal with what we have!!!! Money's running out!

My brother just told me that my whole family needs to plan out what rides we're riding in what order in each park, so that we can take turns taking care of their baby.!

From my experience with a 2 year old, which is different from an infant, put that baby in the stroller and let it nap and sleep. (Or a sling, etc). The motion put her to sleep much better than trying to go back to the room for naps. Hence, sleeping on the table at Ohana sometimes.. But anyway, I would encourage them just to stay in the park rather than waste time running back and forth!

The worst part is she wants to get together while we are down there. I don't want to! I've been feeling like that for about 2 weeks now. What are your dates again?

DHS is our killer. So spread out, interests so varied, by lunch we're just ready to give up and move on! I am hoping for better this time.... but we'll see!

We're going to leave after Sci Fi. And i hope it doesn't take long to eat there. Because I want to go back to the hotel and chill for a bit, since we are staying rightthere and have to be at Poly by 7:30 or so

Well, today I am hunting for treasure. I am hitting DD1's room looking for that blasted DVD player! Trying not to stress over money, clothes, packing, touring plans, finishing papers.... Yeah. right.

I LEAVE FOR WDW IN 1WEEK AND 12 HOURS! That is, if we can ever decide which car to take, fix the SUV if taking it, .... nothing like coming down to the wire!

I can't believe I've been up for an hour and gotten nothing accomplished except for writing lists.!

I'm beginning to wonder what I,actually my DH, got me into....

We are going to St. Louis for my DH family reunion July 1-4. It is about 10 hours in the car each way so we will get home late on the 4th. Then we are leaving for Disney (driving) July 8th after my DH gets home from work. Oh yeah in between all this, I have to work and finish up everything for Erica's birthday. I'm starting to stress!!

Lol what? They explained it better Something like your mind plays scenerios in your head so that if you happen to encounter it, you will be prepared OR it's a way for you to make sure it doesn't happen.

Like you have a nightmare about not packing that special 'surprise' for the trip and it's all ruined. Well, come packing time, your brain will remember the dream (at least subconsciously) and VOILA! You don't forget the surprise

So after reading the 'decorate your room' thread a week ago, I finally went to Home Depot and got the mickey head paint color samples
I made a garland using Never Land (blue/teal) and Bouncy Bouncy (tigger orange) colors. I wrote one letter on each head (with a blank one for a space) that says: Welcome Amanda!
She's our friend we're bringing (she's never been on a plane, let alone to WDW!).

I also got a lot of lime green ones, punched a hole in each ear and am bringing string to hang them in the window I'll assemble that when I get there though.

I've packed most of my clothes so tonight I'm going to be packing up the other essentials suitcase. Glasses wipes, make up, etc. I kind of have to do it tonight because I've been asked to sit in on an interview tomorrow afternoon. They didn't renew the Latin teacher's contract at our district's other high school so they someone interviewing for it from Pennsylvania. The HR director said that he didn't feel right interviewing someone without someone else there to ask some questions about actually teaching Latin. I feel kind of important but it is going to take a couple of hours out of my day. Oh well. I need a new colleague because I can't do it all by myself.

1 more night!!

Just think how fast the weeks will go by. I am in the same boat as next weekend is DD and DS family bday party. Then we head up to Maine for 4 days. Come back and work for a week and then off to DISNEY

So there goes my July... it's all over before it started

This time tomorrow, DH will be dropping me off tomorrow at the airport. Tomorrow night, he'll be dropping himself off at the other airport.

Today, so busy!!!! The cleaner comes for the house, I participate in the interview, mani/pedi time, finish packing, do some more laundry, print off all the information. I will certainly need some to get it all done.
