O.K. I did not want to post specifics yesterday as I was unsure about the rules, but I am so excited about our great upsell rate! I have never been so lucky! We have the Beach Club booked for 6 nights in mid July standard view room, 8 day Park Hopper passes, dining plan for our family (2 adults and 2 junior age children) for $3,281! I am doing the happy dance and this is the first big break I have been able to share on the Dis!

We are continuing on to GF for 1 night in a MK view room (couldn't get SL concierge on AAA as we had originally booked). We had originally planned 5 nights at BC and 2 nights at GF, but we could not pass up the extra night at BC w/ dining. So, we switched to 1 night at GF, looking forward to trying the Grand as well.

Well we got an upsell as well. We switched from standard room AKL 7 nights 8 day park passes and dining plan for $3692.60 to standard room BC 7 nights 8 day park passes and dining plan for 3487.78. So we saved 204.82. Which has already been reallocated to go back to the mouse lol. We booked a wishes Celebration cruise this morning for our first night and our savings will just about pay for it. Hopefully will find people to split it with and then I can spend it somewhere else as well.

I was so glad to have finally received a discount for our August trip. It's not free dining but it will do. When I originally called with "the code" I asked for it to be applied to my current reservation at CSR which was for $1999.71. I was told it was not available but if I was willing to switch to POFQ or CB I could get the same package for $1738.71, a $261.00 saving. That is definately not a upsale since the offer was for a moderate to a moderate. My daughter really likes CSR and I can't stand CB so I was tossing around the idea of switching to POFQ to save the money. I was then offered the BW for $243.00 more. Very tempting but we have already stayed at the BW and are doing a split stay by renting points at BCV so BW held no appeal for the additional cost. While I was on the phone with the CM I asked if I could apply "the code" to another reservation that I had booked for someone else. This one was for POFQ and she said yes and applied "the code" saving that party $364.00. A while later I called back and asked if they would check using "the code" to see if I could get into the Poly, CR, or AKL. I was told that the Poly and CR were booked for my dates by that I could use "the code" for AKL and would save $27.00. End of story................we are now staying at AKL, construction and all, saving $27.00 plus the cost of a taxi that I was going to have to pay for bringing us from Boma back to CSR.

I'm just curious -- when you call is this code attached to your name on a random basis? My family is going to CBR the middle of July and we have booked a package with no dining plan - does this new code only apply with a dining plan? Thanks for your help. I'm calling as soon as I get home from work today.

Originally booked the deal for 10 nights at the BC, but changed to 5.....St view room w/1 day base passes & dining $2013. Rack rate for the same pkg is $2821, so I'm saving $808! I worked it out & it's a 40% off discount the room portion.

That's $223 better than free dining!

By changing our 7 night room only booking to a package with the "code" we will save $1339. For us this means free dining, 4 "free" 1 day base tickets and a $27 discount.



This is better than the AP discount I was holding out for - and we can use the base tickets to renew our AP's next year.

Booked new - got an offer for OKW resort - but a month later than I wanted

So, I am hoping for an AP rate . . .

Well I called Disney up and made a new reservation (previously was booked AAA package) I got 7 nights/8days WL Courtyard view with 8 day hoppers/water parks and dining plan for 4 adults for $4237. My dates are June 30th - July 7th.

My AAA package was around $3900 for just the hotel room and tickets no dining so I got a great deal with this new ressie using the code.

Ours was a new booking as well (previously booked with a TA). In my calculations our savings was similar to others - 40% room discount. We did book dining plan as well, I was told today by a CM that "the code" specifically means you have the dining plan.

We are kinda sorta thinking about booking a trip in July. The past 2 times we have had free dining and I will say, it has spoiled us. If we would stay on site, I think that we would do the dining package for sure.

Now if that code would only become public that would be GREAT!

So far, nobody's had any luck getting the Poly with the discount.....

The resorts that I've seen available are the YC, BC, BWI & WL. I would have preferred the Poly for our trip, but the BC was just too good of a deal!

GF was also available for our time frame but only with the Lodge Tower or concierge rooms. I think some have reported CBR and POR and All Star Sports also.

Actually I was offered the honeymoon suite at Poly when I called back to check ... that is using the same discount we recieved at BC. It is a limited number of rooms kind of thing from what I understand, so Poly may or may not be avaible for your dates.
