Called Disney about another matter this morning, so as long as I was on line thought I would ask about there being any AP discounts for our July trip.
We are currently using AAA and she told me that using that discount was just as good as an AP and no,nothing was out past June 2.
Decided to say okay and let it go

I too have a triple A discount for our Poly trip. It was only 15% so we all know that isn't true about AAA being as good as an AP discount. but, what we don't know is IF we'll even see a code. here's hoping we both, and we all, get lucky. A little pixie dust.

AP discount = 40% on deluxe (when available)

This past September the AP rate was only better by $5.00 per night than the AAA rate. I still took the AP rate - it saved us a little bit of money.

I am really hoping that this thread brings good news in the next few days. We currently have a AAA discount at the Polynesian, but I really want to stay at the GF - and I have convinced my family to switch to the GF if a really good AP rate comes out. So we'll see....

well from reading a bit it seems if i read it correct that july discounts for passholders came out in 2004-05 on may 5th and 06 was in in june so hopefully history will repeat itself

I hope your right but that they also include June

40% seems kind of high for an AP rate. I thought it was more like 25% or 30% off deluxe rack rates.

Yes...Now the advertised AP rates maybe $100 off rack, or $85 off, etc depending on the season. Thanks for claifying.

I called to check on discounts today and you know the anwser I got. So I ask If it would be cheaper for me to switch from BWV 2bdrm. and get 2 standard rooms at WL. BWV $3348 WL 2 rooms $2418. She didn't even look and told me that the WL would be higher because of the monorail. She said all monorail resorts are high. I said thanks and hung up.
