I'm hoping for something for the end of June. A repeat of the $189 Epcot resorts would be fantastic. Then I could bump us up from POR.

2006 June/July was the first trip where no special codes, AP or otherwise, were offered. I'm not holding my breath for June 2007 either The DDE plan allowed us to save $250+ on dining, so that was a nice chunk, and my Disney Visa's points gave us another $200 free money. I'll keep checking in, but not getting my hopes us at all

I was thinking the same thing. Folks do need to be reminded that there were no AP room only discounts for June and July last year at the value and moderate resorts and lots of folks were disappointed. At least you are wise not to get your hopes up.....but hope it's different this year. Has anyone checked the Disney website to see if there are any "quiet" weeks. I know the last week of May is considered a "quiet" week. I love this new function on their website, but wonder how accurate it is. In my neck of the woods, kids get out of school June 4th? -- We are near WAsh. DC. In the warmer areas down south, they get out in May.

I'm here too... on the lookout for July codes! I remember last year they didn't come out till mid-May... I certainly hope we don't have to wait THAT long again! I guess all we can all do is wait and see and plan and dream in the meantime.

We are traveling to Atlantis June 16-21. I was looking into airfare and thought, what if we stop at WDW on the way home. We are DVC and AP holders. Well, it was the same price to stop over for a few days as it would be to go to Nassau and back. Now that's a no-brainer. Unfortunately, DH doesn't have much vacation time, so he'll be headed back home from Nassau. I thought about saving my points and looking for a discount code. I've never stayed at the values and thought it would be a good time to try when it's just the girls and I. Here's hoping for a June code.

I just found that the airline rates are much cheaper if we stay one more night. We already have our timeshare Sun-Sun but I'd love to stay onsite just one night on 7/29. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a late breaking code!

how did you find that out? What are you searching with? Would love some lower airfare rates.

I did some research on other websites about the historical release dates of
codes and except for some AP and Florida residents codes there has not
been a General Public code for July since 2004. Has anyone ran into
any lack of availibilty for July 2007 yet? That would be a strong indicator
against getting a code.

My TA at MouseEars Vacations indicated that Disney doesn't do 'room only' discounts very often any more. Are you talking specifically about room only codes, or was your source indicating there weren't ANY discount codes available in July? I just booked my first package, and was hoping that there would be some chances of getting a refund back on some of the package $ like I did in 2004 on my room only, which was also during July.

JetBlue has a great feature that allows you to check the day before and after your chosen date to check if fares are lower. We'd save $140 in airfare for the four of us staying one more night. That's all the encouragement I needed!

I've tried this for the last week in May & when I break it down there is no discount on the room rate. (insert confused smilie as mine have disappeared)

I don't think this is a discounted rate, but more of a way for WDW to book there "quieter" weeks. This is a marketing thing to get people in during there historically quieter times.
