Life around here has been so hectic, I haven't checked in on these boards lately, sorry for the slow responses,yes Disneycruiseluvr,I finally got your Email,hope to see you at the pool

Sounds like a lot of the kids are emailing, thats great! It's a rainy day here in Colorado(we need it!)so we are just daydreaming of sunny skies and fair seas on the cruise!

Just wondering how many of us are staying at the Radisson the night before our cruise??

I'm not sure when we will check in, but I'm sure the kiddos will want to 'hit' the pool -- plus DD13 will need to do some laps (if there is room enought in the pool) to get a workout. She'll need to try to swim when she can -- one week without will 'kill' her when she gets back with her swim team!

We now have a stateroom assignment -- we had been classified as a "guaranteed class 4"...

I think the emails are helping my kids get excited to meet new friends and stay busy 'without' Mom & Dad and little bro!

OK way off subject here,but i need to apologize to any of you who may have been sent a large attachment of pictures from me, I emailed a few of you recently and just found out through tech support that most if not all emails i sent yesterday had these wedding photos attached somehow The joys of technology Anyway if you did get the photo attachment you have no excuse not to come up and say hi to our family on the cruise-You know what we look like
Also, if anyone tried to email me, no mail was able to be received on my end so please try again, problem is fixed now.

We will be at the Radisson the Friday night before the cruise too! So far it will be me & DH, DD13, DD10 and my Mom. My sister's family may be there too.

Who wants to meet? and where? when?
I thought possibly deck 10, over Goofy pool,maybe at 3:30ish,we could meet before we head off to the safety drill @ 4:00
What do you think? any other ideas ?

We are a 25th anniversary couple with a 15 year old DS, not sure if we're the same ones you mentioned earlier in this post or not? If not, would like to meet the other one! Anyway, will there be a DIS meeting place? Please keep us posted if there will be! The 3 of us are all starting to get pretty psyched up for this, hope we make it through the next 6 weeks. Still haven't decided on the excursions, sounds like we'd better make up our minds pretty quick?! We're flying into MCO the night before, would we be better off to take the limo over to the port or is it possible to rent a car and drop it at canavarel? That would let us stock up on the soda, etc. (just read the post about the $35 mugs!). Can't wait to get those cruise documents, any day now(?)

Mickeyluvr...you don't have to rent a car if it's just to be able to get your drinks. There are many limo/towncar companies that will make a stop at a store for you on your way to the Port/hotel...at no extra charge. We did this last time on our way to the Radisson for the night. It was also late (we are on the West Coast) around 11pm or so and they didn't have a problem w/ it.

debkay- Loved looking at your pictures,makes me want to get on that ship again now,your daughters are very pretty,maybe I won't show my boys I grew up in Dearborn Michigan,my Mom lives in Canton now and brother and family live in Carlton. Where are you from?

We leave one month from today for Orlando,we are going to Universal Studios,staying at Portofino Bay for a few days before the cruise,I love that hotel.We will be staying at the Raddison the night before the cruise and of course we will have to go check out Ron John's.
Someone had asked when we receive cruise documents,I think if you don't book airfare with Disney,you seem to get your documents quicker.They seem to come anywhere from 5 to 2 weeks before your cruise date.Someone on this thread will probably be posting soon about receiving their docs!

We leave 4 1/2 weeks from today heading to Hilton Head. We will be staying at the Radisson the night before the cruise too and we always have to visit Ron Jon's while staying there. I think we are one of the only families not staying at the Raddison. We are staying at the Courtyard. So we'll see everyone on the ship. DD is finally getting her rear in gear and getting around to responding to the emails she has gotten. I've been bringing her in to my office so she has more time on the computer (hard at home with dialup).

don't worry December 99...we are staying at the Radisson but won't be arriving there til after midnight (coming from WEst Coast) so we won't see anyone either. Plan to have the breakfast in the morning and then head on over to the ship like we did last time....it worked out well for us.

We are booked on the July 19 cruise - me, DH, DS 14, DD 12. We did the Eastern itinerary in 2001 and can't wait to visit the new ports on the Western. We are meeting friends from MD for the cruise, but would love to have our kids chat with others prior to the big trip. We haven't booked excursions yet, but are thinking about the Fury Catamaran versus the Tulum Ruins at Cozumel. Also trying to decide which way we want to get to Stingray City. Any suggestions/recommendations would be much appreciated...

I was looking at the posts and I noticed that the countdowns are all wrong. They are showing the cruise to be only 7 days away (although I wish that was true, you can't fool me, I know that we still have over a month!).

I was just curious. I love looking at the countdowns but this really confused me today!
