Yes, so far it does look like the boys are outnumbering the girls. Oh boy!!!!! I did let dd get a decent dress and some clothes that won't be too revealing knowing there were gonna be all these boys there!!!! ROFL

Hope to meet some of you while on board!!! We should try to meet up for the sail away party or something!

Oh and ladies and gents - WE ARE UNDER 90 DAYS NOW!!!!

We are also cruising on July 19. I am traveling with my DH, DD(11) and DS (9). I hope more girls will be going. My daughter is shy and is not sure she will want to go into the club. Does anyone know if the two clubs do things together. I think after she goes she will make friends, but it will be easier to get her to go if she can be with her brother. We are also traveling with my Aunt and her DS(8).

great, I just posted a thread for this time and I just found this. we are going on the July 19 cruise also, it will be me (15), twin bro, mom, dad, and grandparents. I already met up with tezb, but I would love to talk with all of you. either pm or email me and we can start talking. I would love to meet up with some people my age. I live in tucson, az and can't wait for finals to be over and finally summer will come. we should all meet up somewhere specifically, that would be great. anyway, this is awesome

lancerguys, glad you found our July 19 group,I've seen you post a few times and kept meaning to bump this thread up for you. We spent Spring break in Phoenix and had a great time, didn't make it down to Tucson though, at any rate , while we were in Arizona enjoying the sun,It snowed 4 ft. at home in Colorado- (great timing on that trip You will undoubtedly meet up with my sons Michael 13 and Matthew12 if you spend any time at all at the basketball court on deck 10 We cruised the Eastern route last year and they spent a lot of time up there,and watch out for Matthew(Matty) He'll probably be the smallest kid up there but he's got a sweet outside shot

Captain Wildcat - We are in Half Moon Bay right now, you certainly live in a beautiful place!! We will take the kids to dinner tonight at Ono Grill as you had suggested.It is a little cooler here than we had expected but in 4 days we go on to Maui where I know it will be warm,in the mean time we will purchase a few overpriced sweatshirts from the gift shop and call it good

Glad to see a few new folks have posted for our July 19 cruise My boys are looking forward to meeting new friends,boys AND girls My daughter however,is only interested in meeting other little girls,Princesses,and Captain Mickey!!

I am really glad I found this too. do you know if there is going to be anything where we all meet? that would be really cool. Phoenix is really nice also. I probably get up there two to three times a year. if you can believe it, Phoenix is even hotter than down here in the desert. but it's a dry heat. I will definitly meet your sons on the court. my bro and I play for our high school team. we will have to play a little 2 on 2. that would be fun. where do you live in Colorado? I always wanted to spend time in colorado at teluride or denver. and I really want to see the air force acadamy. tell your sons that I am anxious to meet them at people, and on the court to hoop it up.

Yes, just a few more days before we make those excursion ressies!!!! I keep going back and forth and back and forth....UGH - wish we had 1) more time and 2) more money!!!!

I know what you mean about not being able to decide. I think we are for sure going to stingray city. Just don't know who to book it through. Also does anyone know if you can just do sting ray city with no stops for snorkling.

Hi! I just found this site and wanted to introduce myself to the July 19 cruisers -- My name is Bobbi and my family and I will be going on our first cruise. It will be my hubby, Rob, and 3 kids - Haley (14 almost 15 on the cruise), Meghan (13) and Chandler (5). We are getting very excited!

I can tell it's almost time when we get the Castaway Cards and the thick travel brochures in the mail. We just can't seem to decide on what to do, like all of you. Bobbimom23, welcome here. I am finally noticed someone is that is my age. My twin bro and I are both 15 and will be on the cruise. That's cool that you have a 15 year old daughter. we will have to talk before the cruise so we can meet each other.

Just wondering what teens are going on this cruise -- boys/girls, and ages. Maybe we can let them email or IM one another before the cruise so they can get to know one another beforehand.... I would think it would be 'easier' and an 'ice breaker' if they 'knew' each other before getting on the ship.

I think it is a great idea. I am 15, and I am going with my twin brother. I already kinda talked to someone who had a fifteen year old son, so that was cool. what about you? I think you said you had a 15 year old daughter. that would be cool to talk so we can already know each other. let me know

I can kinda see their point. I remember last year I thought I wouldnt really need to know anyone. I had my brother so that helped, but I really didnt start talking with anyone until like the third day of a four day cruise. so that really was a bummer. I think it would be cool to know someone anyway. tell them to pm me, or I can pm them. my email address is sparty137@hotmail.com if they would rather email me. I just think it would be cool to meet someone and start talking with them.

We are!!! DD(9), DS(12). We are also trying hard to narrow down our excursion preferences. Can't decide between the
Fury Catamaran and Dolphin Discovery Swim on Cozumel. I've heard great things about both.

And not sure what to do on Grand Cayman. I was pretty set on Captain Marvin's, but the kids are not excited about the stingrays. .. Maybe just a beach/snorkeling thing would work. Has anyone been on the 7-Mile sail and snorkel? or the Shipwreck and Reef snorkeling?

Bobbi - I think maybe my husband pm'd you but I think that is a great idea about the kids getting to know each other a bit. PM if you'd like - my dd is 13 and would love to get to know some kids beforehand. I can give you her email addy (she's not a DISer - yet).

Also I believe tomorrow is calling day for excursions!!!!! So what have you all decided to do???? I just put a post up about parasailing....I think I want to but I'm not sure. And I know we can book and cancel before we leave but I need some opinions....

About the excursions -- we're still undecided. My girls only have one big request -- they want to ride the Banana boats at Casaway Cay!

We are going to have a 'family meeting' after my 13 year old dd gets home from swim practice. Then, we'll be better able to let you know what we may try to do... it's sort of tough since our son is only 5 (and can't swim) and the others are teens!

We are getting very excited about our trip!

Wanted to bump this post up for the 25th anniversary couple with a 15 yr old son on our cruise,hopefully you'll see this and post.
ALSO - I think our family has 2 extra reservations for the dolphin discovery SWIM in Cozumel,we will sort this out this week but I wanted to post here in case any fellow cruisers have interest in possibly taking over the 2 slots,I believe they are sold out on the swim for the day we are there, I booked months ago.
Lastly, my son 13 is up for exchanging e-mail -You can PM or E- mail me to exchange info.My 12 yr old son is also up for E mailing and our 5 yr old daughter won't be up for E mail , but she would love to make some new friends! Happy planning everyone,we are down to LESS than 2 months now
