Captain I Finally Got One

missed the pirate race. We were watching "The Parent Trap" for the millionth time and playing the "Magic Kingdom" game with my DD.

Ooo! Which Magic Kingdom game? The one that a player has to ride on all the rides from the cards he's given? I really like that game, but the board has the tiniest little markers for putting your pieces on, and the stand up rides make it tough to see all the spaces sometimes...

And My update is...woot! finally finished the Tshirts and the pillow cases. Thankyou again for your advice on that one too! You guys are the best!
Have DS9 and DS11 packed. Picked DD16 up from Volleyball camp and DS13 is supposedly packing himself
I told him NO JEANS! He won't need them in Florida and can't wear them in the dining rooms on the ship (what do you wanna bet he will pack 5 pair?!)

Yes, that's the one. My DD seems to be in a board game mode lately. So every night we have been playing a stack of games together. When my DD wants a mother-daughter day, this is her idea of what we should do. No spa day yet for her.

As for "The Parent Trap" movie, we have watched the new version and the original so much that even my guys can recite the movie. I had the movei goofs pulled up on my iTouch and we were trying to see if we could see the goofs too. We did see some.

OK, can I vent?

Our A/C went tonight. Yep, dead and gone. And yes, it was seriously hot today and so it's feeling a bit uncomfortable this evening. We were able to line up a service call for tomorrow morning which is good news, but now I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. You know, the great BIG shoe that will come along with said serviceman. The really, really great BIG shoe that speaks and will say, "sure, we can fix it, but it's gonna cost ya serious bucks."

Please, oh please, let this be a quick and relatively inexpensive fix. Can't leave town with it broken (can we?) and we certainly don't want to shell out a fortune right before this trip.

If anybody has some spare pixie dust just sitting around unused, please feel free to send it our way. I have a feeling we're gonna need it.

I feel your pain. Two years ago the AC went up, but the parts were still under warranty. Didn't get it fixed any faster and we still pay for the labor. While waiting for the correct part to come in, we got a room AC, then the kids moved into our room until it was fixed. I knew all that camping stuff would come in handy. The unit was fixed while we were away at WDW. I could have never packed with that heat that year.

So sending you a ship load of pixie dust. May it be fixed fast and inexpensive.

I feel your pain - I am waiting on the TV repairman today. 3 weeks ago we had them come out ($100). I told them what it was doing and showed a picture on my cellphone. They wanted to take the TV - they never even opened it up. I told them they weren't taking the TV and they could get the parts. I thought they were there to fix it because I told them on the phone what it was doing. They said they would have the parts by Mon or Tues next week. Wed I called them and they said oh no they are still "researching" the parts and it will take 5-7 business days from when they order them. They are finally coming today and the total cost will be about $500. Never again. The next time I will just replace the TV. The TV is only about 3 years old so I didn't want to get rid of it.

I hate this throw away society mentality.
