July 18 Tortola cruise part 3

I should also add that I HAVE been to it a couple of times, and it is right in that area. I'm just not sure exactly where. Marcy might remember, though. Worst case scenario, just ask at the front desk. They'll definitely know where it is. :)

My kids are being entertained by Disney Cruise Line DVDs that I've collected over the years, and perfect for getting them out from under feet while I pack. Those DVDs are the best entertainment to have before going on vacation... :thumbsup2

Anyone else's kids watch them constantly before a cruise?

Would you eat somewhere that served flipper on the menu?

I just read a menu that said:

Our famous encrusted Dolphin

Dolphin fish! Dolphin fish! You know, like the Dolphin and the Swan hotels!

:fish:

Lucy (lwilliam) just texted me and wanted to know what was going on on the boards. She says to extend a "CONGRATULATIONS" to you!

Bwahahahaha. I can't believe it was such an event.

Mine do. ;)

Have been loving it  Beware :scared1: going to be 89 and more humid today. Wasn't last nights 57 wonderful? A hot day in WDW or on a Cruise is better than just about anything.

Haven't been on for awhile do to my oldest sister had a heart attack last week and than she had to have her dog put to sleep. It's been tough but things are quieter now.

Greg, I read the whole thread to see if you had a priate. I just knew you would. What happened? The whole thing makes me laugh. Good luck!

We had a close call. Nicholas got out of the hospital late last night because of a bug but because of his brain tumor history and being adrenal insufficient, his body has trouble handling small viruses. He went into an adrenal crisis and also developed lactic acidosis. He recovered quickly and we were given the all clear to travel....:cool1: Close call...a couple days later and we wouldnt be cruising.

:grouphug:

Congrats, Greg!!!! Finally. But it's a BIG ONE!!! Whoo whooo!!!! :dance3:

For the rest of you who are hanging out in Disney's backyard, turn toward the East. In about twenty minutes you should be able to see a giant rocket going really, really fast. ;) It's a 90% Go so far!

Can't wait for our mini meet at the Turf Club at SSR. We're going to try our best to be there on time. Our room probably won't be ready until 4 and then about 15 mins or so to get our luggage and another few to change & get ready (which I am sure you would all appreciate, considering we'll be flying and going to the parks in the same clothes, ewww.)

Yep! 6:03... About ten minutes. Everyone has given the go, so barring any unforeseen technical problems, it's gonna launch!

(As an aside, I used to be an orbit analyst in the Air Force for the shuttle and I STILL haven't visited NASA!)

OOPS! Forgot to change my watch!!!!:headache:

I can go now, older DD just lent me her bright pink suitcase....

:yay:

It could mathc the lime green suitcase my DH gave me a few years ago because of the DIS boards. It was the best joke gift. Makes me laugh everytime I pull it out from under the stairs.

BTW...........for years we have used the suitcases to hide the Christmas gifts. They are in plain sight. I can lock the suitcases too. My kids are still clueless where I hide them. I told them I will tell them my secret once they leave home (:sad1:).

Just double-checking the time of our SSR meet - was it 4:30? The time isn't on the first page and my memory is off sometimes. :upsidedow

What a day. I pack, then read the boards. Pack. Then back to the boards. It was so much easier to pack stuff inside my head. :rotfl:

Back to packing.

Just waiting for DH to get home. I've got everything laid out but he is the packer. I am spacially challenged. I'm the kind of wife that will have him move the couch even though he says it won't fit. Well, after 32 yrs. I have to admit he's always right about it. Please don't tell him I said that. Don't want to inflate his ego too much! :lmao:
