July 18 Tortola cruise part 3

Downfall when John packs - my 4 inch heels are included for formal night... oh well, if he has to wear his suit, I guess it's an uncomfortable trade off...:lmao:

So is everyone as excited as we are? Have so much to do, I don't know what to do first. Trying to keep up with the boards isn't helping.

Congrats on the pirate:!

Following the boards creates chaos and excitement! :) Plus, it's a great tool for procrastination, and I can always use those...

ARRRGGGG - finally got in to our ATT bill - we were slammed for $95 worth of 900 numbers - no one was home at the time. ATT won't do anything... Disputing it through MCI...2-3 billing cycles supposedly while they investigate.
I hope you get this worked out. it is do frustrating when dealing with the phone company.

That's the spirit! Let this coming week FLY BY and then let's have time stand fairly still so that our cruise lasts forever!
I like this idea. :thumbsup2

I'm ready for a Pirate! The patients can wait!!

Damnit!

Your poor patients! the pirate race is definately more important.

Congrats pyrdum!!

I think all of you have timers on your blackberry! I was mwknt dinner and thought I had plenty of time. silly me! I'll wait for the next one. popcorn::

I'm with 'ya on this one! My downstairs is now spotless - we won't talk about the boys' two bedrooms, one bathroom, and we can leave Monday!
It is just me and Mamma Mia (the CD from the movie) in the house right now and I'm getting alot done (like chatting on the boards):lmao::lmao::lmao:

For packing to go I've got a five page packing list that is very detailed down to the # of item that we need for the trip. I can pack in 45 minutes flat if necessary. As for packing to leave the cruise ship we throw it all in suitcases as quick as possible and then sort everything out once we get back to WDW. 15 minutes flat to pack this way and yes we have top repack later but at least we are doing it in a place with much more space.

Not sure we'll make it to Parrot Cay - we will have to get room keys and accounts switched around if we can't do that prior to boarding. That's the official reason I've requested that everyone be present at port early to get on board first thing - it's going to take some time to switch things around.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to get additional Flounders time as soon as we board!!! I hope I don't forget that!!! :scared1: DH also needs a massage - I hope they have some specials during the spa tour! :thumbsup2

Can I send him to Parrot Cay and run to make the extra ressies and meet them there? Will they let him save me a seat??? :confused3

Just a picture to make you feel better about IF it rains on Saturday:

It might be hard to make out, but it's the swimming pool crashing over the sides due to the boat rocking during the massive storm on the New Years 07-08 cruise. We weren't supposed to be up there, but I'm stupid like that.

Another from the day following the storm, when it was still overcast and chilly. It's also one of my favorite pictures of my oldest, who went with me that day to get some coffee.

And another one from the brutally wet (and cold) day at Castaway Cay:

So, hopefully that will make you feel a little bit better about rain on the first day. :)

Sure - rub it in that I can't post photos! :headache:

Missed it

I can't believe that I missed ANOTHER pirate race!!!! :sad2:

Congrats!!!!

My wife has been trying to talk me into a massage, but I can't justify it. I have two kids that take great glee in jumping up and down on me like I'm a trampoline. And it's free! :)

And if you need help with the pictures, I'll be glad to! I can even set up an account for you, and help get you started. It's a cakewalk once you do it a time or two. :)

Also, last September when my DH and I took a 3 day on the Wonder after drydock, we didn't go to the dining room for breakfast (we were not in a hurry either, our flight was not early) we went to Topsiders (or whatever it is called on the Wonder) and just stayed, didn't rush, i must have drunk 8 cups of coffee, just relaxing. That was so nice.:thumbsup2

We always go to Topsiders on the last day -- since we drive home, it's just so much easier waiting until everyone else leaves the ship. I know it's tense to have to fly home, and I don't want that tension rubbing off on me!

Do you have any additional info on this cabin -- any kids?

Ditto on the tip about Topsiders. We've always gone to the dining room for breakfast that morning and a) I've never enjoyed it and b) it's always felt totally rushed. This year we're driving so can take our time a little bit getting off as there's no plane to catch. Topsiders here we come!

I think I'm always sad because the servers act differently -- it's a 180 from the night before. So now we just skip it. Plus, you het to see the Palo cuties at Topsiders that morning. Um, I mean, the extremely well qualified waiters from Palo.
