July 18 Tortola cruise part 3

I have been on a few cruises but im new to the FE exchange. My question is.. Do we put the items who's it from or not???

I'm new to it, too, and don't think there are any hard and fast rules on this BUT a tag with "From: so-and-so" makes sense. I want to be able to thank people! :)

Ugh... That sounds like a bummer. That's the main night that I like to go outside on the decks. I'm not much of a pool bum, so I usually only go out for the girls to hit the slide, or to snag a panini, or maybe sit and watch the ocean in the mornings before it gets too crowded. But on pirate night I'm all about the party. :)

"A" panini? Did you actually try to type that in the singular?? :rotfl:

Of course, one of them is a panino, so perhaps you really did mean the plural . . . .:rotfl::rotfl:

In English, panini can also represent ONE panino because the English language is stupid.

You never snag multiple panini in one run, because the second is cold by the time you get to it. You can only get A panini, then come back for a second, and third, and forth, and so on and so forth...

Time to get ready for lifeboat drill.

I hate that part. I wish there was a way to do that immediately upon getting on board. It feels like you can't do anything until it's over with...

Just wanted to say, I like your new picture! Yummy, yummy.

Mwa hah hah! It's actually not my favorite there, but it's everybody ELSE'S favorite there, and I think it's funny to make people drool and crave them. :)

Hmmmm... It appears that I'm on my own pirate race! pirate:

By the way, the new washer is in, so we won't stink when everyone meets us. No need to thank me! :goodvibes

Hmm did someone say pirate race? Isn't it a bit early for that?

But I am happy to participate...leaving in 10 minutes for D13's soccer game....
how long you think this is gonna take?

And am glad to hear you got your washer fixed...did you find a plumber to help or are you planning on another swim?

My DH and I went to South Africa a couple of years ago and returned to a broken washing machine and the 4 kids had all been camping with grandparens while we were away...... Lots of laundry to do!! Thank goodness for wonderful neighbors with working washing machines!:worship::worship::laundy:

Probably, but I need to be ready. :)

And at this rate, probably a few hours. I think you'll have time, but I make no promises. :)

I ended up having to hire a contractor because I broke the spigot off the pipe when I tried to wrestle off a rusted water line. On one hand, I feel burly-tough, and on the other I feel a bit like an idiot. Whatever the case may be, $250 later and I have two spiffy new spigots and a washer that appears to be running splendidly! :)

Have fun at the soccer game!

I'm on too! Just finished writing up paperwork for the lifeguard audit completed yesterday. Now, I'm wrestling and swearing at the ATT website. I hate their site with a passion!!!!! (Where's that computer pounding smilie? )

Guys:
she added more fantastic pictures of Castaway Cay - I'm NOT looking forward to that day - i always get so depressed.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2170331&page=17

Me too, re: feeling depressed on Castaway Cay day. It's horrible, really, to not fully enjoy that last day and I've promised myself that I'll do better this time. It's tough though . . . between knowing that there's the scramble to get everything packed and outside the room by 11 AND that brutal realization that the vacation is rapidly coming to a close it's hard not to feel a little down. Maybe we can work together as a group to keep ourselves "in the moment" which would help.

We had rain for pirate night on the west coast cruise. They had it inside the lobby. Definately not as much fun.

I'd be soooo disappointed if we had to move the party inside. It just wouldn't be the same without the sun on your face and the warm breezes blowing. Fingers and toes crossed on this end for good weather that day - - or at least from 4 'til 6. That's not asking too much, is it?

So, I read one of the tips people post (many of them are fantastic), pack as you go, when you are done wearing an outfit - pack it (you realize I never take my own advice:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:) and your last day/night isn't as bad.:confused3
Also, last September when my DH and I took a 3 day on the Wonder after drydock, we didn't go to the dining room for breakfast (we were not in a hurry either, our flight was not early) we went to Topsiders (or whatever it is called on the Wonder) and just stayed, didn't rush, i must have drunk 8 cups of coffee, just relaxing. That was so nice.:thumbsup2

Oooh, I like that tip about packing outfits as you wear them . . . very smart! Sort of like cleaning up as you go while you're cooking. I may just have to try this one out. At least for my two DDs.

Ditto on the tip about Topsiders. We've always gone to the dining room for breakfast that morning and a) I've never enjoyed it and b) it's always felt totally rushed. This year we're driving so can take our time a little bit getting off as there's no plane to catch. Topsiders here we come!
