Hello! But if there is still room in the FE, my family would love to participate.
We are the Callihans, with us will be myself DW, my husband DH, my 13 year old daughter DD, and my 4 year old daughter DD. Our room number is #8516. We are new to the event and if there is anything else I am missing in order to participate, or is a need-to-know, please let me know. Thanks!

We are new to the cruise but I have scrolled through the intros so far and I am excited to see so many older kids! I am bringing my DD who turns 7 on 7/18, and my DD who turns 16 on 7/24, and my DD who is 13 (she celebrated HER birthday on San Juan last December E. Caribbean itinerary). In another cabin are my parents. We are all gold, they are platinum. We love cruising with them, early embarkation and free Palo!

Now I am hoping for some serious Pixie Dust for a Cabana! I have never managed to get one in the last 6 cruises so I am hoping this trip is the one!! It would be the perfect way to celebrate a sweet 16 don't you think?!?

Has anyone offered to handle the "Fish Extender" gift program? I would do it but I don't even know where to begin. This is our first Disney cruise and this is all new to us. Someone, please post as time is getting short.

disneykg originally was posting the FE list - with 4 cabins on it. Unfortunately, that list - Apr 4, 2015, doesn't appear to be updated. In so much as the administrators might wish this thread to be sufficient, it's rather obvious that the traffic here has diminished.

While active on the 'not to be named' thread, we haven't signed up on the FE list there, preferring to stay on a single listing. It does seem that there is more than enough interest here. I personally would welcome the additional cabins to the list - It's all about a GREAT time - but I also don't want to step on toes, or generate a list in addition to the existing. Last thing I want to do is encourage a potential disappointment due to mislead expectations. But I do hope we get some additional activity and clarification from the original organizer.

I would be the first to welcome anyone who can handle this fish extender list. I just joined this thread and I'm in the dark about the FE. My grandkids would love to be in this, however, I don't know yet what it's all about. Help please!

Does anyone know what we are going to do if we get no response on the fish extender list? It only concerns me, because it is very close to our departure, and It would be good to know that everything has been settled.

Hi Callihan2015! I have offered to help organize this, even though I've never done it. Also, I don't know what the rules are and no one has come forward to help me, so I guess it's a bust. Since we drive to Florida, we will be leaving on July 10th, and once down there, we'll spend a few days in the area, prior to the cruise. Sorry about the Fish Extended thing, it sounded like so much fun! :-(

My family has seen the fish extender game on our previous disney cruise, I don't know much about it, but if it were to all come together, I would also be willing to help organize. I really hope that we can do something about this. Hopefully it will all work out, but if not, I hope you enjoy your time in Florida, as I live here and it really is an amazing state.

Do you think we can just post this notice and advise people that want to join in to let you or I know? I think I read where they only do groups of 10 cabins. Does that sound right? I have some tiny gifts that I can use, I really don't know what's appropriate or what's not. I do have a fish extender to hang. I have 2 grandkids that will have a cabin (with mom and dad) next door to my dh and I. Reagan is 7 and Carson is 4. What's your thoughts and how many kids for you?

I think that is a wonderful idea Lenora! Traveling with me will be my Husband, 13 year old daughter (Hannah) and my 4 year old daughter (Anna). This seems to be a way that families that also got no response to the original FE group can still participate in a fun family event.

OK Callihan, I hope you'll back me up.... I have no idea what I'm doing. I guess I will start with a posted note: I believe this is only for families with children, is that correct? I'm going with 5 families in case someone has a lot of kids. We can always open it up to a few more.

oh dear, I am really new to DIS so forgive me. This is my 6th cruise and I have done FE 3 times. I would love to participate with y'all!!! In the past my favorite experience has been a small group it was only like 4-5 families and the organizer did a schedule so that each child received a personal gift and then each cabin received a cabin gift. Other larger ones I have participated in have had less structure but were still fun. Those were left up to your own personal preference whether to do one cabin gift, one gift for each child, a gift for adults or all of the above. Every day might be a bit much!! I am happy to help with any guidance and I would LOVE to participate since it is such a small group.

Cabin 10144 has myself and DD's 7, 13 and 15. My parents are traveling with us in another cabin but need to check to see if she wants to participate, maybe not since it's so close to sailing.

My DD Leighton turns 7 on 7/18 (Sail Away Day!!) and my oldest DD turns 16 on 7/24 (Castaway Cay).

After talking to Katellynne about having a schedule, I thought that it would be a good idea. If any of you have a preference or suggestion towards the list please let me know.
I quickly put together a schedule (that can be changed and families can be added to it) to see if we are all on the same page.

7/19-Callihan2015 will give to the Mohrs(Lenora's Family)
7/20-Katellynne will give to Callihan2015
7/21-The Mohrs will give to Katellynne

You CAN say who it is from if you want!! If I have time I make a generic tag that says from Gregg Family, Cabin

This looks great!! I love a small group. Thank you for organizing that!

Is there a main list with all the people in cabins? We can include ages, any allergies if applicable, or any fave characters is someone feels the need.

Earlier I made a post where i put down the people who are in our little group, and their cabin numbers (#), kids, kids ages, and most of their names. I have not gotten any farther information than that though.
