Also, there was some discussion early on, about our DISmeet.........it's now time to confirm, some of us will meet in Epcot on Friday night, some of us may meet at a hotel near the ship, or at the airport hotel.......but we need to confirm the meeting spot and time for the large group meet onboard.......who remembers what we have planned.........where & when......

an illuminations cruise Friday night?

I know it will make all of you sad, but Lucy will not be joining you for this, she will be at the Hyatt MCO the night before the cruise.

Lucy and some of her family (that's me) will be down on Monday already before the cruise. I was HOPING to meet up with some of you during that week. If I remember correctly, Mrs. G (Maryann) will be at SSR, jalwall (JoAnn #1) will be at GF come Thursday, JoAnn #2 will be at Shades of Green, I believe Wendy will also be at SSR?????? We will meet up with Jenny (jfis1020) at the airport Friday night and maybe JoAnn #1's parents too - anyone else coming into the airport - we could meet at the Hyatt Friday night?
Somewhere, sometime I would like to meet up with our pre-cruises either in the parks or at the resorts (we will be at BWV)

Susan, you ask how we will know each other? I can't explain that one - it just happens - we are all DISers. When we all met in 2005 in LA port, we had a guessing game as people were coming into port...it was fun. We walked right up to the person and introduced ourselves. IF we have these meets before cruise, we will have met some of you. IF we don't meet before the cruise, I believe Darth Vader (Starwood's son) is getting together a meet on the ship for all of us.

What we need now, is someone who is an organizer to gather all this information, in maybe an excel sheet or some kind of document and send to our e-mails, CLOSER to the cruise? I am NOT an organized person (ask my husband Bob!)
 
29. clothes pins for hanging wet suits

We use those suction cup hooks - they can stick right to the wall in the bathroom. Plus, you don't have to move the suits to take a shower!!! Great space saver!!!

small dry erase board - another option for leaving notes...

duck (duct ?) tape - I dunno - I always see it on lists....
Bungie cords - another "I dunno" - also on DISers lists...

Kidding.......my idea would be.......

1)set a time and place to meet
2)create a logo for a tshirt we could also order thru a tshirt website which we could wear to the meet or throughout the week
3)or........we could just try to wear DIS lime green to the meet?

I'll get my oldest to create a tshirt design using the one that some of us have at the bottom of their signatures.......is that okay everyone?

I just need someone to confirm where and when.........anyone remember???? Is it Promenade Lounge, Deck 3 on Sunday, July 19th at 10am? I think there was some discussion of getting it put in the Navigator??

I think the bungie cords are usually recommended if you have connecting state rooms, to hold the connecting door open. At least that's what we used it for.

And you should never go anywhere without duct tape! JK. I don't know either. "Duck" tape, I believe, is a brand of duct tape.
 
would be great for taping up the sons (in my case only! of course) if they become too annoying!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

(i believe one of the reasons for duct tape was in case your suitcase ripped....what else would you use it for except taping children)...i actually DID take it one time to WDW and our suitcase WAS cut in transport......:cool1:

We'll be at SSR July 11-17.

My bil and sil- Dean and Mary Jo- have canceled thie cruise. I'm sorry they won't be joining us but they're saving to buy a house.
 
Our group with be split - part of us will be at the Ron Jon and the other part will be at the Radisson pre-cruise...

Oh, Monica...if you need a suggestion? for dinner - Bob and I ate at The Grill the one and only time we went to Port the night before...fun place by the water (you see this restaurant as the ship is sailing out)
