We finally received our packet this morning. I know it's not a big deal and totally not necessary but it sure is nice getting it. As for excursions the only one we are doing is the dolphin swim in Tortola. Matt and I are going to swim and mom's watching. For St.Thomas we will go out on our own and explore.

While you all were racing, I was enjoying a margarita with a girlfriend at our favorite Mexican restaurant. we had 5 kids with us and no husbands, but still a good time.

I will be praying for the hectic pace of back to school to get some relief - ds14's summer schedule is insane! He has 12 weekdays total unscheduled this summer between band camp, Marine Biology camp, vacation, and HS marching band practice. 2 weekdays in June, 7 weekdays in July before vacation and 3 weekdays post-vacation in July.

Good luck with your schedule at your home. I just hate this growing up and going away part of being a parent. I miss him a lot. (That's why he is going on this mother-daughter trip.) My DS would be very interested in the Marine Biology Camp. This is what he is thinking of going into for a career. I've heard nothing but fish, fish, fish since he could talk. I know he is going to try and talk me into going fishing with him again at Castaway Cay. He's done that excursions twice and apparently that just isn't enough.

It already started snowing here. Not sticking yet but it's supposed to get colder.

I have been sick since Thursday night. I have a terrible head cold! Yesterday I HAD to help make the 600+ pizzas for Boy Scouts, so I did boxing. My hands are so sore from assembling all those boxes! I have gone to bed in the neighborhood of 7-8:00 every night trying to whip this thing!

We begin the first series of state tests tomorrow.....they take the writing portions this week, then the multiple choice tests in April!

I hope you feel better soon, especially after assembling all those pizza boxes. We were very involved in Boy scouts,too. My oldest is an Eagle Scout but my second one wasn't interested once he got to the troop. I really miss it, though.

I hope the state testing goes smoothly.

Who wants to go and get my groceries for me today. I was too busy last weekend to go and now I don't feel like it!

John got called in to work unexpectedly. All of his plans for fixing lunch(pancakes),dinner (gnochi) and his trip to the grocery store just went out the window. He's the chef in the family, I'm more of the open cans and dump into a crockpot kind of cook. Maggie just got braces Friday, so I'm still scrambling to find things she can eat with a sore mouth that are within my limited culinary capabilities. I'm compiling a list - bread, milk - got it - anyone need anything else?

No warm weather here but, we do have the palm trees - it's in the low 50s...
