Good Morning all!

I hadn't finished my coffee so I had to look to make sure I clicked on the right thread! Your summer trip sounds wonderful and I'm going to have to experience it through all of you. I can't wait to hear more!

What's on the agenda for all of you this weekend?

We've had a busy week - last regular season basketball game for ds14 Wednesday. Double elimination district tournament started last night - lost #1, next game is Saturday. dd11's dance class and an aunt's surprise 70th birthday party tonight. Saturday is another basketball game and dd11 Maggie is at a science and technology career exploration conference for jr. high girls sponsored through the school district. Sunday, we're taking the kids to the symphony as part of their Christmas present. Weird gift for pre-teens, but the Houston symphony is playing John Williams' music. ds14 Mike loves his music and it's a great way to introduce the kids to the symphony. We've attended their 4th of July concerts and other Houston symphony concerts geared to kids but, this is our first full fledged "real" symphony concert.

This weekend: ABSOLUTELY nothing! my DH will probably suggest a few things (cleaning will be among them....but I know I can talk him out of it, just like every other weekend ).
We are definitely home-bodies (is that a word ) in the winter.

Last night we made our final arrangements for the cruise, oh, wait, no we haven't (as I'm writing this I'm thinking my oldest son does NOT have airfare to Florida yet ). We FINALLY found some decent airfare home, we booked our hotel room for the night before the cruise (we are staying at the Hyatt to meet up with our son), all we need now is the money to pay the cruise and then we'll be able to book a dinner at PALO (hoping JoAnn #1 is able to make the brunch ressies for the two of us) - we want to take our oldest son to PALO, the boy DOES enjoy good food - but I'm not sure if he enjoys wearing the jacket to dinner.....the 17 yr. old will go to the dining room that night or call room service (his favorite treat on the ship).

Gotta ask: since we won't be able to join the group for the Illuminations cruise Friday night....anyone wanna meet up for a quick 'hello' anywhere from Monday-Thursday???????? Maybe once we get closer to the time, we could PM each other with dates and places....we are open to anything...I know I would love to meet JoAnn #1 over at GF and Mrs. G at SS....JoAnn#2 when are you getting to Disney? I know we won't be able to come over to SoG, but maybe somewhere else......anyone else?
Where is Starwood? I believe Wendy is staying at Boardwalk? ah, maybe not! We are there.
And tinkerbell? Closer to the cruise, I promise to start many lists and either PM or e-mail them to you......especially FE list, of which I have no idea what I'm doing!

Yeah - I'm back, I haven't really left just trying to stay productive. Facebook and the DIS can distract me very easily. Clients have kept me busy. Trying to carve time out to get myself in shape for some advanced pilates courses I will take this spring, doesn't leave me much time for much else.

A client is on the Disney Wonder with her family. While this isn't the 1st cruise for her, it's the first cruise for her son, dil and 3 grandchildren. And the first DCL cruise for all of them. I keep thinking about them and hope they are enjoying their vacation. I'm sure they are, they're in the Walt Suite

Haven't made our flight reservations yet. As much as we would love to spend time in the parks - the kids haven't visited since they were 4 and 2, I think we're just cruising. We just booked another RCCL Voyager cruise with friends in February 2010 and we're desperately trying to make a July 2010 Wonder cruise work.

I'm still here. Just very sick and tired of the cold weather (I think I'm hibernating). Supposed to warm up this weekend.

We just finished renovating the basement and Wednesday the carpeting is going in, then we can start moving everything back in from all over the house. Then I think I'll start on the bathroom.

Yeah we hit a heat wave after a week of no school and snow we finally had school today and it was almost 60. We spent the whole afternoon outside. This weekend I'm sleeping and celebrating my furbabies first b-day tomorrow. She is an English bulldog, a granddaughter to the university of Georgia's bulldog. We are making her a yellow cupcake. Stupid I know but hey she is my only child. Have a good weekend everyone.

Hey! We're getting to Disney on Tuesday. We are planning on going to the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday and attend the Princess lunch in the castle. (But can't make those ressies until 90 days out. ) On Thursday, we are tentatively planning for Hollywood Studios, but probably won't stay there all day. So, maybe we could meet some folks at DTD in the evening. Of course, Friday will be our Epcot day! Can't wait until the illuminations dinner! It sounds great!

Last night was DH's birthday. We went out with a group of 20 friends to the local Indian restaurant (there's only one in the country). Unfortunately, we overwhelmed their ability to serve and it turned into a bit of a customer service nightmare - but the food was really good!

Tonight I'm hosting ladies for Bunko. Normally we have Bunko on Friday night, so not sure how many folks will come, but I've got a lasagne all ready for the oven, so at least we'll have good food!

Lucky for me my Amb. comes home tonight, so I'm no longer in charge of the Emb.! Yeah!

And right now I'm really ticked at Turbotax because it says I'm not getting a refund! GRRRRRRR!!!!!

Hey! We're getting to Disney on Tuesday. We are planning on going to the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday and attend the Princess lunch in the castle. (But can't make those ressies until 90 days out. ) On Thursday, we are tentatively planning for Hollywood Studios, but probably won't stay there all day. So, maybe we could meet some folks at DTD in the evening. Of course, Friday will be our Epcot day! Can't wait until the illuminations dinner! It sounds great!

Wow I'm impressed you even started your return. I've just been putting it off. We don't expect a refund, that's probably why. My DD said DSIL has been happily doing theirs all week.

HE'S A CPA!!!

Spent the day running errands, but most importantly got the rest of our passports!!!!

DS11 was in the state music association piano solo performance. They get rated; they don't compete. He got a GOLD MEDAL in his division!!!
