My Mom and Step-dad finally came down for a visit... They came in Thursday evening and were planning on heading out Tuesday morning. Now we are trying to figure out what to do with them whether they have time to hold out till Tuesday or whether they need to arrange a new flight to get out while they can.

Hi everyone,

We got back last week form a great visit with my son and daughter-in-law in Houston. As soon as we got back we were busy getting my son ready to go back to college. We moved him in yesterday. My daughter started her senior year in high school today.

I hope everyone had a great summer.

I also have an update on who is coming with us on the cruise-

DH (Russ), Me(Wendy), DD( Amy-17 who will be celebrating her high school graduation)), DM (my mom Marilyn , who wil celebrate her 80th birthday ), DS (Matthew-23) DDIL,(Matthew's wife Leah-23), my sister Cindy, (who'll be celebrating her 50th birthday), my nephew Sean (13), my BIL Rusty, my MIL Lyndia, her husband Scott, my BIL Dean, my SIL MaryJo and maybe my DS Andrew ( who will turn 21 on July 19) and his girlfriend Katie. They're booked but not sure if they're going.

Five are new cruisers- my sister and her family and my mil and her husband who have started posting here).

Basically think of 10 things to tell us about you to get to know you better. I just threw in my astrological sign and for some reason that topic took off! We now have JoAnn keeping tabs on the "leader board" of astrological signs! She is also doing the Pirate names. Starwood is keeping roll call and Lucy is keeping track of something but I forget what it is now! OH, wait... the STATES that are represented!!! There are some really interesting ones, so if you have some time you should backtrack and read. Some are a really entertaining!

Wendy, when you get time, the 10 things are fun.....all about yourself, family, likes, etc. I'm really enjoying getting to know everyone - i'll make a word document of all of them when we have more!

Seems Hurricane Hanna may touch our area a bit this weekend - lots of rain.
Joann has a beach house in NJ and they will see alot more than we do in PA.

I'm following Verandah Man's report from the 5-day Magic - their last day will NOT be Castaway as they expected (they were there on their first day), they don't know where they are going on their last day - but as we all know, Disney Cruise Line WILL take care of them.

Hi all! I'm still here, still on jury duty - it should wrap-up by Tuesday or Wednesday next week. I could get used to hearing "All rise" as I walk into the room and everyone remain standing until I sit down - I wonder if I can institute it at home?
