Ok I finally went back and read all 15 pages of your postings. Snow? hmm hasn't snowed here since 1974. Hope you all are enjoying that. We used to live in NJ, then MD before returning to CA. And Noahsmom - congrats on becoming a CM consultant (have been there since '99). And can anyone tell me how i get a cool ticker tape countdown to tortula at the bottom of my posting? Oh yeah and yes of couse I clean my house before going on vacation! Love coming home to the clean house! That leave one less thing to do when i am finished with the vacation laundry. Oh and one more thing - i see everyone posted the ages of their kids at the time of the cruise - please let me fix that i will be with DD16, DS13, DS11 and DS9 at cruise time. Arg that is so far away. Ok i think i am caught up except that maybe i should have made 50 postings with this so i could get me a pirate Arg!

Hope you all have a good weekend. It has been raining all week and will continue thru the weekend. DS11 (but he is 9 now) 's soccer game on sat has been cancelled and I am keeping my fingers crossed that DS13 will be too (i don't want to sit out in the rain and cold "supporting" him-big baby that i am)

"Cold" and rainy here - low 40s - Maggie's opening season lacrosse games for tomorrow are canceled. Her pre-season tournament was canceled last weekend. Only thing on the schedule is basketball and science projects for tomorrow...

It's cold and rainy here too! My daughter just called me from school and said it was "snowing little baby flakes" LOL, but I don't seem them! I think it is just wishful thinking on her part - she misses the snow boarding in Alaska!

I told my DD that she should start a thread on the teen board for our cruise since we have so many teens going! I don't think she did it though! Maybe someone will so they can get to know each other before the cruise!

Cold and sunny here in NY too. They say chance of snow this weekend. We've been lucky there has been no snow so far, too lucky........

tomorrow we are running away from here, my hubby and I, and going to NYC and standing in the half-price ticket line - I always like it when I don't know what show I'm going to see! The last time we did this, my DH and DS saw Spamalot (DH didn't care for it) and I went by myself and saw Color Purple - OMGoodness - well worth every penny - I was traumatized at the show - also saw it with Fantasia! What a moving show.

We wanted to see Drowsy Chaperone but it closed. I'm hoping to see Curtains, highly recommended by a friend. I'm sure Little Mermaid won't be on half-price tickets...wish Mary Poppins would, saw it before and LOVED it!

Hope the City turns up the heat tomorrow - oh, my MUST stop in the City is always the Disney Store!

My weather report is very similar to the previous posts..........freezing cold, gloomy, bitter, biting cold, no snow............quite frankly, wintery depressing................... I don't know about you guys, BUT I NEED ALITTLE SNOW BY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........

Lucy, how can you go to NYC without us???????????? We missed you by a week and I've been sick ever since! Coughing every night, all night!

Enough about that! WE NEED TO BRAINSTORM A piratey, Caribbean, tropical, treasurey cruise name! It's time to jump in and offer your ideas......(I'm not very creative, but I'm good at stealing good ideas!

Thx MaryAnn, apparently, they've shut it down to see if the longer thread are slowing down these boards...........i'm not sure if it will be back, we can start a new one if we want! Yikes!

It might be nice to start another one just to keep in touch and tell everyone what happened. Do you want to do it as you were the one who started it all?
