I receive a phone call Friday that a day at the Baths was cancelled. I booked the Tour to Virgin Gorda.

We had a beautiful day for my DD's graduation party on Saturday. My son flew back to Houston yesterday and my sister goes back to Virginia tomorrow.
Tomorow is our 25th wedding anniversary. We'll go out for a nice dinner and then celebrate on the cruise.

The guys leave tomorrow at 4 AM for two weeks, this is when I will clean the house. The best part is that it will stay cleaned for two weeks. I'd rather have the mess. Two weeks is way to long for me to be without my guys. I'm already very sad. But I will be sad in a clean house finishing my FE gifts. And I will have time to work on the grab bag gift. At least I will have the DIS Boards to keep company. (My DD will be home most of the time. She will be spending a few nights over the 4th on a friend's boat.)

Sounds peaceful......and you can start packing w/o interruptions! Don't be like me who forgot all my underwear when I started packing early......it was a tricky vacation, w/o bras and panties.......

This actually happened to my Italian (born) grandparents..........they went back to Italy and they were robbed and the first thing my grandmom said was, "I'm glad at least the house was clean!"

So now I always clean before my vacations........

Thanks. It's not peaceful at this moment. I have a couple extra boys spending the night that are going on this trip. Tonight their goal is to eat all the food in the house. I guess since most of their meals are going to be freezed dried they are having their last feast. I think I'd do the same thing. My DS' buddies are so jealous that he comes home and goes on a cruise. Poor baby. So if you see a 15 year old guy sitting in front of the buffet, just ask him to move to a table.

My DH didn't pack his undies one trip too. Luckily we were driving.

I sure hope they have everything they need for two weeks packed. No Target where they are going. I can't believe they have to carry everything on their backs. I can't get everything in one suitcase for one week. And their trip is suppose to be a fun adventure. My idea of roughing it is a 3 star hotel.

Someone asked me about a lacrosse shirt swap with Noah. I tried to get a tshirt from Lacrosse America and their store is closed until after we return.

So, thanks for the thought but I'm not able to get a shirt to swap!

I haven't been a faithful follower and I see that there will be grab bags, but can someone tell me more--# of items, or $ value, or what? I'm hoping to pull myself together & do one, but I'm afraid I'm out of time for the fish extenders...On the bright side, DD Chelsea (14) is finished with her chemo for leukemia! If anyone finds chemo gloves in their FE, it wasn't me!

I am so right there with you - my idea of roughing it is the Hampton Inn. Camping - nahhh. But, my cub scout was a little jealous when i told him!

ok - question of the day - who has plans for St. Thomas? I want to do a littel snorkling maybe and some shopping. Really don;t want to do an excursion, because I think I can do it cheaper on my own. I don't want to go to St. Johns since I am doing Virgin Gorda the day before.

What si everyone doing, and have you ever been there? I was originally thinking Coki, but am re-thinking maybe sapphire beach.

And another couple questions - those who ordered shirts - which shipping option did you pick, and how soon did they come?

As for the grab bags - $20 value - from your geographical area.

FE's - I made mine in one night. I still have one or two things to add, but it was really easy - I made the no sew version. Also - I just got a bunch of stuff to do the gifts. If you want, there is still one day left!!
