Ok, I have spent 15 minutes looking for the post about bottled water. Someone earlier posted get water once on board. What is that? Is there a plan for buying bottled water on the ship? :)

Yes you can order a case I think.......did someone say recently that if you order when you first board it's cheaper? They usually have stands located outside Parrot Cay and on Deck 9, selling water packages, wine and beer packages.......but I think someone said it's cheaper if you do it right away (I usually get it from room service.

Other people have said that they get it before they board........I haven't tried that.........:confused3

We bought a case of bottled water (Evion) on our last DC... it was like $25 or $30, but it was nice having it in our stateroom. Not sure if they still offer that or not.... we will know in 18 days!! :cool1:

We're 20 years in October; My parents (and the reason for this cruise) celebrated 45 in June.

She will be working at WVU in Morgantown. I am sure it is beautiful there, but it is over 9 hours away from here.:sad1:
She'll have to talk to my daughter Kristin on the cruise. She and her fiance Nick are WVu graduates and Kristin actually grew up in Morgantown so she'll be able to give her some good advice.

We live about an hour away in Wheeling.....

That's impressive. The higher anniversary numbers always warm my heart.

Congrtas to everyone else on their anniversary too. We will celebrate 30 years of marriage in September. It was a fast 30 years. I already bought from EBAY these cute Mickey and Minnie patches for matching shirts for that trip.

Happy Anniversary to everybody who is celebrating soon... we will be celebrating 20 years in September!:flower3:

We are also 20 years in September!!!!:thumbsup2:love::woohoo:

Our 22nd is July 25th. When I told DH we were going to Palo with a group he was a little upset. He said "but we are celebrating our anniversary, why would you do that with a group?" Then I explained it was for Brunch, not our dinner. That was better.

His birthday is July 18th too - I have ordered the birthday stateroom decorations. So if any of you are seated with us, there will be birthday cake at dinner that night!

Wow! Lots of anniversaries! Aug 19th will be 20 yrs for us! Sure does not seem that long ago!!

Scheduled meets (WDW & DCL):
Thursday, July 16, 4:30 pm
Saratoga Springs Resort - Turf Club Bar & Grill
---followed by---
Downtown Disney Marketplace - Earl of Sandwich
For all who are interested in meeting other cruisers, a group will be gathering at the SSR Turf Club for drinks and chatting. Then while some head off to dinner reservations or other plans, the rest are invited to boat across the lake to DTD and enjoy the great (I hear) food at the Earl of Sandwich (look here for the menu: http://allears.net/menu/menu_eofs.htm).

Friday, July 17 - Grand Gatherings Illumnations Dinner at Epcot link for more info: Grand Gatherings: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.ph...5&postcount=32

Friday, July 17 - Meet at the Radisson pool area around 7:30 pm
SC Minnie
Luv2boys
Mickeymo
LoriLuvsDisney
noahsmom
disneymagic316
Saturday, July 18 - Deck 10 during Sailaway party. Wear your t-shirts if you made them.
Sunday, June 19 - Studio Sea at 12:15pm ALL are welcome to the meet. If you are interested in participating in a grab bag swap, bring a bag with items unique to where you are from and swap!

I'd like to go on record as saying to those who've never eaten there that the Earl of Sandwich is probably one of the best places for a quick (and relatively inexpensive) lunch on Disney property. It's simple sandwich fare, but really, really GOOD simple sandwiches on a sort of homemade roll. I use the children as an excuse to drive to DTD all the time for the entirely self-serving purpose of eating there. Don't be surprised if you bump into me on Thursday, because it really doesn't take much of an excuse to get me out there. :)

Hi everyone,

I haven't been a faithful follower and I see that there will be grab bags, but can someone tell me more--# of items, or $ value, or what? I'm hoping to pull myself together & do one, but I'm afraid I'm out of time for the fish extenders...On the bright side, DD Chelsea (14) is finished with her chemo for leukemia! If anyone finds chemo gloves in their FE, it wasn't me!

Wow -- what a magical celebration on the cruise for Chelsea and all of you!

I've never heard of it until the meet was planned.........hmmmmmmmmmm

Shirley -

I am so right there with you - my idea of roughing it is the Hampton Inn. Camping - nahhh. But, my cub scout was a little jealous when i told him!

ok - question of the day - who has plans for St. Thomas? I want to do a littel snorkling maybe and some shopping. Really don;t want to do an excursion, because I think I can do it cheaper on my own. I don't want to go to St. Johns since I am doing Virgin Gorda the day before.

What si everyone doing, and have you ever been there? I was originally thinking Coki, but am re-thinking maybe sapphire beach.

We will be going to Coral World with one of the excursions.

CONGRATS to Chelsea!! What a way to celebrate!

She will be working for her sorority headquarters with WVU local chapter.
What sorority?

We are celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary. But it is my parents and my aunt and uncle (mom's brother) that we will actually be celebrating - 50 YEARS!!!!:lovestruc

I think with the water we will be purchasing the case once we get on board. i will be bringing our empty water bottles since we are flying. Does anyone know how the tap water is on board is? Could I just use the bathroom sink water to fill up on? I really don't want to spend $36 on a case of water, knowing I could get a case for $3 at Target. What a rip!

How many dresses/skirts are you ladies bringing? I was bringing one for formal night, one for semi formal, then a kakai skirt with a couple tops to wear. I'm looking for a packing list. Does anyone have one?

I'm really having a packing problem. We only have 1 medium size suitcase, and then we will each have a carry-on suit case then ,we were going to check a carry on. I really don't think we will have enough room, but dh says we will be fine. URG - I'm not sure how we can pack everything! DH is the packer in our family.:worship: certainly not me.

Could someone out there let me know what the average and/or expected tip per person is? Our last cruise was in 2005 and frankly my mom paid for EVERYTHING. I just wanted to make sure I brought enough cash! And I am not sure where to find that info out.:confused3
