I'm trying to decide what to do about trip insurance. For our first 2 cruise we used what Disney offered. It wasn't until the end of the last trip that I realized due to preexisting conditions my mom and I would not be covered. I'm not really worried about covering this trip since we booked with points all we would be losing is the 95 dollar fee no insurance is going to cover the points. I am concerned about next summer as I'm not going to Europe w/out insurance. I've got health insurance that covers me where ever i go nobody else in my family does though. Any suggestion about where to find trip insurance?

Lissa

I always use insuremytrip dot com

Very good prices, a lot to choose from. I cannot tell you how good they are because all I have ever done is give them my money, I've never had to actually use them.

FE Update

I have updated the FE list in post 1. PLEASE take a look and let me know if it has the information you want included. There are a number of participants that don't have names (real and/or screen). More of us have unknown stateroom numbers (hooray for upgrades and FL rates).

Just make sure things are correct. I've tried to keep up but sometimes there are so many posts in a day it's easy to miss something. Especially if there's a pirate: up for grabs! Also, for those you just joining us, let me know if you want to joing the FE exchange.

I almost have my FE gifts complete :yay: Now I'm trying to decide if I should ship or carry on....

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I'll have to check out that website. I've looked at others but they all exclude preexisting conditions. We do not use a TA. I do everything for our trips whether it is booking through member services or something non Disney. I would annoy a TA to death because I hate to let others plan things I need to have control.

33. ? TX Gale (Macavity), Bobbie (Figgie), Ali (16)

33. 6088 TX Gale (Macavity), Bobbie (Figgie), Ali (16)

Also, can you take a look at post 1635 - I left a question for you there...

Well, since we upgraded and added a person yesterday with the florida rates, yesterday we had a GTY room, this afternoon the GTY changed to room 6088.

Did some research, overall, this seems to be a nice room to be in.

Noahsmom, was someone in your group in one of your cruises in this room?

We are 6 doors down from StarWood

Wow - how did you know that we were in 6088 once? In fact that was our very first cruise - on the Wonder. We are in 6086, so we are neighbors! Keep it down would you? We can party on our adjoining verandas!

For those of you with GTY rooms - looks like staterooms have now be assigned! Let me know what you got and I will update the FE list!! It's just all so exciting. :cool1:

Here's the info for FE
Donna, Jose, Tony (14)

We have staterooms too! No upgrade, maybe we can get one at the port.

For the FE:
We are in 2103
My mom and dad are in 2548

38 days to go!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure about 'expert'... maybe novice

QUESTION FOR PEOPLE HOW BOUGHT SHIRTS:

Has anyone gotten the shirts with dates from cafe press? Do they actually have a gray box around them in person or is that just a glitch in the pictures online? I cant figure out why that one has it and the other one doesnt.

:confused3

Hi Everyone! This is our first time to post:yay: We have been following the thread for months and finally could not resist getting in on the conversation. I think we are officially addicted to at least reading daily. My sister (Charleen) has posted a few times on our entire groups behalf. So, we are already on the FE exchange list.

You guys are a fun group and we are getting so excited for the cruise. :woohoo: It is our first Disney Cruise with our DS(Jacob 9) and DD(Abigail 6). I hope to meet some of you at the meets so the kids can meet others their age.

So....the FE has been ordered, FE gifts are in process and the shirts have arrived. Thanks Virgil for such a great shirt design. We loved it so much my DH(Stan) and I had to have 2, one with the date and one without. In response to the above question, the one with the date does have a light gray block, even on a white shirt.

Let me be the first to :welcome::welcome::welcome: you!

My DD graduated from middle school today. :goodvibes:sad1: Talk about mixed emotions. I will never be able to get through a slide show without crying. Next year I will have two kids in high school. It was a nice ceremony. She received a lot of awards/recognition for academics, service, and clubs. She even received an award for being one of the top three students out of 300 in English. We were shocked. Since it wasn't too long ago she couldn't find details in stories, sum up any story, or even write and stay on topic, this is an extremely big deal in our lives.

Thanks for letting me do a little mommy bragging. Now back to our Disney lives..................

I got the lime green t-shirt with the date. It does have a slight box around it but is only slightly darker than the t-shirt. Still looks great and barely noticable.

Our daughters are 7 and 5 and are desperate to meet kids their age. Feel free to PM me a message and they'll write back to your daughter. :thumbsup2

Welcome Tricia!! I have updated the FE list with your screen name.

Has anyone else noticed that for those of us on deck 6 - we all seem to be on the same side of the ship? Do you think they know about us?

I know we tossed around setting a limit for the FE - and I agree with whomever originally asked the question, I hate to limit it! I'm guessing as staterooms are assigned and we get closer we'll have even more join us. But, my suitcase is going to explode!!! Delivering so many gifts will take a while, too! Instead of limiting the list, what if we divide the list?
