I can't imagine Noah going away like that, but he's only 11. Although there are days...

Well, enjoy every second, we had three and they'll are away, the youngest will come home for just 6 weeks due to her trimester college and soccer schedule.....it's hard having such a quiet house.

I still have to book transportation to the port from WDW too. Dealing with a rental car would be difficult since DH won't be traveling with us. In the past the towncar companies would pick up at 9-9:30 AM, now FL Tours won't pick up until 10:30 AM. Does anyone know of towncar compainies that pick up earlier?


And today I need to work on travel agangements for my DH and DS, and 22 other people, to get home from an airport 2 hours away. They will get into the airport at 12:30 AM. This should be interesting.

Ok, I just changed my ressie from GF to AK and saved a fortune. Now, I have my room, tix, dining plan for less than my original ressie at GF!!
Magical express is booked and next I have to arrange my transfers....it's getting closer..........

I just found out thru Facebook that a HS friend of mine is sailing next week on the Tortola cruise! He has been asking me questions. So, we'll have a good liason for any last minute questions when he gets back!

Yep, I'm going to Prom tonight... I LOVE seeing the kids all dressed up and acting like grown up adults. It's my favorite teacher perk. Lets see... in 2 years, I get to watch my DD at Prom.... (somehow, I don't think she is going to really like me being there LOL)...

Hey Starwood... I vote for renting the car and dropping it off. That way the first time DS ever does have a Limo service it will be a tad bit special to him.
I'm thinking his Prom will probably be his first time for him....

We're doing ME from the airport to SSR and then SSR to port. It's just easier and maximizes our time at SSR.

I'm jealous - my son is sitting here waiting for the girl to arrive with her parents.....I was trying to get a date to the prom (I work as a sub) but then I KNOW my son would kill me - he doesn't like me working at the high school any time, any day!

I wish i was a little mouse, just to take pictures - I love all the kids and would LOVE to see them dressed up - when I didn't have anyone going to prom - I used to drive around to different places in town just to see them.

We are trying to teach him a quick course in etiquette
Do not slurp your food, do NOT walk in the door in front of the girl, napkin on lap, USE your napkin, etc. etc. etc.

It is a little rainy right now - hope it stops raining when we are ready to take pictures......

Not really a "limo" but a car to pick us up and ferry us back and forth (unless they would like to upgrade us to a limo but I wouldn't hold my breath).

DD & DH should be home in a couple hours. DD has a new "metal" tooth.

I just finished hosting my last spa day in Burkina. I had 19 ladies doing nails and massages + a pot luck. Why am I so tired???

Been working on my FE gifts - they are taking me longer than I 'd planned. But I'll get them done sooner or later!

Congrats on the pirate - I never seem to be online at the right time anymore.

I think we have everything scheduled for the trip. Now we are focused on trying to get our house ready to rent again in VA. Our renters will be leaving in June, but we need to get it repainted, cleaned, etc. before someone else can move in.

Oh - and I guess I should start packing since the movers will be here in three weeks...

Well, I went to Walmart this morning, and ended up getting some cruise stuff... got the over the door shoe holder ($7.50), two misty fan/water bottles ($3.00 each), some more suntan lotion (can you ever have enough?), and an underwater camera. So... I guess that means I've got to get the suitcase out of the attic to start packing...

Good Morning All!

Congrats on the Pirate! We had a busy Friday and Saturday, Friday, Mike had UIL band competition, the band earned all 1's and a sweepstakes award.

Saturday, Mike had a band festival at the University of Houston. Maggie competed in the school district's first "Reading Rumble" competition where a team of 6 was asked 25 quotes from 30 possible books. Her school team won! Their team was comprised of all 6th graders and the youngest team of middle school students competing. They were so excited!

Today is, in theory, a bit quieter, schedule wise - not volume. The kids have private trombone lessons at the house today.
