And I'm still grumbling about missing another pirate race. You guys always wait until I'm off on some mission or another before starting it.

Today, I got a little daddy/daughter time with my oldest while my youngest went to her friend's house. It was nice getting to talk to her without all the bickering for a change. We've already had lengthy discussions over a daddy/daughter photography odyssey.

I read disnutz pre trip report and had an idea. How about we try posting pics of ourselves again so we aren't wandering around the Radisson Fri/Sat or the port wondering 'are they a Diser?'

The off season is horrible because the entire Cape shuts down for winter, and summers are so packed that getting to and from work was a major task, but there was history and the Autumn was nice (though not as nice as Indiana/Midwest, I don't care what any Northeasterner says!).........

Dude...I wouldn't use Indiana and nice in the same sentence. I have had 40+ years experience with that!

I relinquish control of all picture posting to my lovely wife, so I don't get yelled at for posting bad pictures of her. Of course, this means all the pictures of me will be bad, but it's just safer this way. We have a pretty good one with the top of my head cut off, though. That's what happens when you've got a head advantage over the second tallest in the family.

does anyone know if AT&T has coverage in St. Thomas or Castaway Cay. I just called them and I was told that if St. Thomas is part of Puerto Rico, then there was a POSSIBLILTY that it would be in the network but maybe not...(that was helpful)! I had a different carrier last time and St. Thomas was covered.

Yes - AT&T has coverage there... Sounds like their staff need a geography lesson...

Talked to one of my co-workers and apparently she has been to the Soggy Dollar Bar before and said it was one of the neatest places she's ever been. I really want to go but not sure if we'll have time... maybe on another vacation...

OK after quickly reading through the last 9 pages i finally caught up. Welcome to all the new people. I know there is at least one group out there but I lost track of their name. Our FE gifts are not homemade. I did that a Christmas and after spending two days making at least 500 pieces of candy I said never again. Of course our gift will not fit in a FE so it will have to hang next to it.

I am desperately ready for Monday to be here and be over. I stepped out of my classroom long enough to potty and a child decides to run. In the process of running they fall and split their forehead open. It was not pretty at all and now i will get to spend the better part of tomorrow doing paper work.

OK off to find food and do school work.

On another note - I found an Orlando wine shop that is willing to deliver to the Hilton on Friday for me.... I'll even be able to buy a bottle of Riesling for my wife so that she's happy!

So I did a little experiment.... (ok, some times I think I have too much time on my hands)

I totally think Facebook is a BAD thing. Yes, parents think they are doing good, because they had their son or daugther do a friends only protection.
Come on Mom and Dad, all my friends have one, and I'm being left out.

So, two days ago, I made up a fake name, and a fake email, and made up a facebook account. I then said I was a junior at a local high school. I then started sending friend requests - no picture of me, and the only status I did was a bible verse. Nothing else visible. I did a search for that year in that high school, and I sent requests to anyone who said they were part of that class.

I now have more friends then I know what to do with - all high school or early college kids. When I could see their friends - I sent requests to their friends - guess what, I have now EVEN MORE friends..... NONE of these kids know me.

I know what they are doing - when they are doing - I know when they are working - I know when they are home - I know when they are home alone....I know when no one is at home cuz their family is going on vacation to tim-buk-too...I know when they are going to the mall... I know what car they drive cuz its in all their pictures..... I know what house they live in - cuz its in the pictures also - really nice prom pictures.... or backyard party pictures....

Does anyone besides me see the danger in this?

My DD16 started a MySpace behind my back when she was 13. She said on it that she was 14 (told her I am So sorry I missed your birthday). She was made to shut it down and grounded from the computer for 6 months (the amount of time she had the account before she was caught) and had to write me a 3 page research report on the dangers of MySpace. (I know...tough love). Your experiment shows more danger-potential then anything she found in her research! (and just to show how little she learned...when she got her computer back she started another one! and her then 7 year old brother found out by checking the history on her computer and tattled...who knew she would try that again 2 days after getting her computer back!) Do they EVER learn? I know I have!

That cut off head picture is 18 months old -- the girls look so little!

Here is a picture from a wedding in December, though -- the bride and groom have been blocked out to protect the innocent:

Oh, and you should all expect to see those clothes on us again on the cruise! Those flower girls dresses were expensive -- I want them to wear them again before they outgrow them!

That's fantastic!

I love the "except for the fact that I've lost 80 pounds" . . . . you say it as if you were mentioning that you had cut your bangs a little bit but that everything else is the same!

I lost the weight due to being so sick and not eating. I would be prouder of the lose if i had done it through dieting like i have been trying to forever but hey at least the weight is gone. We have no current pictures of the 3 of us together. I'm going to have to make sure to get at least one on this trip.
