Welcome back Joann #2!! How is the US trip going?

:hug:for Shirley!! She is such a special person!

Thanks! Trying to relax actually. We are now in one place for 2 weeks. Of course, my dad thinks that if we are just sitting in the house that we are bored so he is trying to book something every day.

I NEED SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!:wizard:

But it was great to see my Grandma in Colorado. We went trout fishing in the mountains and spent some time with family we haven't seen in over 3 years. Now, we are adjusting to the South TX humidity. Heat I can handle - humidity - ICK!:scared:

I guess it's 11am, so I should probably get out of PJs???? :confused3 The first day we're here and Dad and DH decide to tee off at 7:30 and Grandma heads out to the dr. Hmmmmm..... What happened to my R&R???? :sad1: So far DD2 has attempted to drink the lavendar scented room freshener, smeared cheese (yes we are all recovering from our deprivation from the past three years!) on the wall, attempted to play with a light socket, pushed buttons on some electronic thingy Grandpa has set up in the sun room, and that's just what I caught her doing.... :scared1::scared1: Welcome to the unbabyproofed world of Grandma and Grandpa's!!!!!!

Laundry... :laundy: Wait - who likes to do laundry??? Anywhere near San Antonio by any chance??? I've got 5 suitcases worth!!!! :thumbsup2

Packing?!! You guys are packing already?! :worship::worship::worship:
I looked at my photos from our 2005 cruise and funny thing...what I wore on formal night is still the best thing I own! :confused3(I don't dress up very often). I need to go shopping!!:banana::banana: So talked my DH into taking the day off to come shopping with me (I think he loves me VERY much!)
Haven't even started my door magnets...
or my FE stuff.....

And every time I go to sleep and wake up to see what you all have been doing I have FIVE pages to catch up on!!!
I don't have time for this! (hehe but it is SOOOOO much fun!)

Oh and I have a question for you more recent DCL guests....when I went in '05 the only place to get a mocha was a bar up on hmm deck 9 I think....Is that still the case?:confused3

Just ordered my gift basket. Shirley sent me an e-mail and asked me to call her. Turns out she had a minor stroke! :scared1: (She hasn't posted it to the boards yet though - so SHHHHHH...) But she's back at the store, just not as engaged as she was before. She sounded good on the phone though (just slower) and wished everyone a great trip!

Welcome back Joanne! Sounds like you have your hands full!

I was just going to call and order a basket for my parents. I hope she's ok. Is she still taking orders?

We have started gathering things together. Had DD try on her dresses for formal and semi formal night. Good thing we had a back up because one of them no longer fit.

Have the FE's pretty much done. Need to go back over the list I got from Kelli to confirm.

Bought magnetic paper but haven't had a chance to do the door magnets.

DD's 15th birthday is next weekend so I am trying to get as much done as possible because the next 2 weeks are going to be super busy.

How's the weather for everyone this 4th? These past few days in MI it has been chilly and rainy. Today I don't even think it will get past 68 degrees! Saturday it will be maybe in the upper 70's! This isn't summer.....

Yes, she's doing okay. Her assistant Patty is there and can take your order. She is also very nice and suggested fun add-ins for the girls.

Thanks. I'll have to call today. I keep putting off. There is too much to do!! I hoping to get some things done this weekend.

We're going to Ashvelle, North Carolina 5 days after we get home, so I'm trying to get ready for that trip too! This one will be some R&R after the cruise.

There's the coffee bar by the adult pool, but I think there is another place now. I just can't recall.

Of course, there is always the cheap alernative -- a packet of free hot cocoa on Deck 9 filled with free coffee. Voila! Free mocha.

Didn't even think they would have hot cocoa. I figure it will be warm enough that they wouldn't have it. That's what I do at home!

They've had hot cocoa packets on every DCL cruise we've been on. I may pack some SF hot cocoa mix packets as a back up, though.
