I was watching the weather channel and most of the south is having extreme heat.......what's that like???

Well, it's not as much fun as it sounds! Our A/C is running 'round the clock (dreading the electric bill!), and it just gets old if you know what I mean. Don't get me wrong. It's summer and we expect it, and I'd rather have this than 65 and rainy BUT 97 degrees and a heat index of 102+ is just no fun after a few days. We spent yesterday afternoon in our neighbor's pool and that was great, but the minute you get out of the water and back into the HEAT, you just want to scream! Despite tons of sunscreen we ALL got a bit burned yesterday and just walking from the parking lot into church this morning was tough - - as the sun hit our poor, red skin it just stung! It's a good reminder about being careful on the ship and when we get off at various ports. If we're burning here in Hotlanta in mid-June, it's gonna be brutal in the Caribbean in mid-July. We've gotta be smart about it all - - nothing ruins a vacation faster than a nasty sunburn!

I have been trying desperately to get some color before the cruise so I won't burn but with nothing but rain for 13 days straight - I'm losing what little I already have.

OK so door signs are finished, medical forms are faxed now I'm ready to pack and go. I hate waiting.

I gave up trying to get rid of my tan lines by sitting outside. I went a bought a spray on stuff from Neutrogena. Tried it last night and it works great. I'm not orange and tan lines are gone.

Today is the day that we're meeting my dad's long lost sister......that we didn't know about until a year ago.........what's everyone else doing?

We just got home from dropping DD16 at UT Austin for the week. She is SO in love with being in a college dorm all week. Okay, I think this week will be a little rough on me - I hate not having my baby around - even if my baby is 16 years old :(

Ha Ha - that's funny, the Kutztown festival was in our papers too! It looked fun!

Worked on the FE, but not yet done, so no pics. Got some FE gifts and cruise stuff. Off to Poconos on Wednesday. No wireless, so I will miss you all.
