You know they have got to be glad to get off the ship at least for awhile.

Since it is to early to start actually packing I started a packing list and gather things i only need for this trip into one place. I am so ready to go.

Hi All!

Went to Disneyland with my parents and DD (age 2). I live in San Diego, so it's an easy trip for us. We stayed at the Disneyland Resort. Seeing my DD's reaction to all of the characters was so fun & made me even more excited for our cruise! I am always sad to leave Disneyland, but I kept thinking, "The cruise is just around the corner & then I get to have more Disney to look forward to!"

Anyway...just thought I'd share!

:dance3:

Thanks for the update on the Magic. I can't believe that I was a week behind on the repo date! I have spent the last hour reading the live thread coming from the ship. I am really getting excited!

Disney called us to alert about the Lucca Treasure Hunt cancellation. It was a little disappointing. I presume they cancelled due to small demand, but I am really not sure about that. Hopefully there will be no more cancellations. I guess that we will take the the DS's to Pisa instead.

We went to WDW for the weekend and on the way home we were saying that we won't be back to WDW until the fall but at least we have our Cruise to look forward to! 8 weeks from today we'll be flying out. I'm looking forward to getting our flight info (we booked through DCL) which should be coming in the next two weeks. And then I'll get serious about getting ready.

DS#2 came in this morning telling me that all of his shorts are suddenly too small. So I gave him a pair of his brother's to wear. This is the last week of school (hooray), but it looks like I'll have to clear his clothes out this week and figure out how many pairs of shorts I need to buy for summer. Just one more thing to add to my list of things to take care of.

You are both so lucky visting WDW & Disneyland before your cruise. I wish I could fit in a trip before the cruise but no such luck. Hope you both had a great time.

The same thing happened to us with the Lucca Treasure Hunt and we were also thinking about doing the Pisa trip but this does not include climbing the tower :sad2: which is also a little disappointing.

I don't know if you have seen the link to the Davidson Family DCL TA reports but here it is just in case.

I'm in trouble! I have been doing the majority of the packing to move. Tonight my mom went looking for vacation stuff and could not find any. I packed it all without thinking about any of our upcoming trips but the cruise. I knew we would be unpacked by then no big deal. Opps I kept telling them my brain was already on the cruise not to put me in charge of anything. As my punishment I have to search boxes.

I've come to my senses & decided that a 12 hour day with a 2-year-old on the "active" Highlights of Rome & VIP Tour of the Vatican shore excursion. So, we'll be joining many of you on the Jumping into Eternal Rome excursion now. My DH will just have to get over not seeing the Sistine Chapel (looks like that's not part of the tour...right?).

Looks like they opened up a previously unavailable shore excursion - it's a day at a beach resort 45 min from La Spezia. Anyone else going to do this excursion? I'm thinking of switching from our original Lerici Beach excursion. I figure we'll need a day to rest after the craziness of Rome. I suppose we could find our own way to Lerici beach - anyone know for sure?

Hello Colleen

That is great that you join Jumping into Eternal Rome excursion as lots of people are going now.:cool1: I am not sure about Sistine Chapel? maybe someone can help.

About Oblia, I have not planning anything yet. I just wait as I don't know what the weather like?

My husband's parent are thinking to come along to this Cruise but they have not making up their mind yet as father in law is not well and got early retired. It is shame as mil enjoyed the Disney cruise last year with us and she want to come but fil is not keen. They are having discussion last night so I am waiting to hear from them today if they make up their mind to come or not. I told them about Cat 12 - what a bargain and also flight is available well :rolleyes1 Their 40th Anniversary this year and mil is 60th well. Something special for them:love:

ScottishWee-

I hope your inlaws will be able to come! I wish my parents could come - would be great to have some built-in babysitters! But alas, I haven't even asked b/c I know they can't afford it with the expensive flights from U.S.

:-) Colleen

Hello

My husband parents have not making up their mind as mil want to go but fil is not sure yet. They asked us to wait another few days!!

We have been booking another Disney Magic Cruise which will be 15 Night Panama Canal Cruise - Westbound. We are so exciting!!:cool1:

Scottishwee35:thumbsup2

Oh you are so lucky. I want to do the 15 night Panama Canal cruise westbound but mom keeps saying lets wait and see how this one goes. Hope your inlaws decide to come with you on this cruise.

You are soooo lucky I wish we could book another cruise but I have to wait and see about holidays.

I hope your inlaws can come because I think they would love it and the cat 12 prices are great. If your FIL does not keep to well he does't even need to leave the ship and he will still have a great time.
