I had look at my reservations and now I know that reason as the bookings site has just gone down, it won't retrieve reservations at the moment.

That is terrible as people get nervous and have to wait until it is back on:confused:

time was 12.30 at lunch time, Back from shopping and it is on line now, seem working okay.

I saw High Tea at Palo on Sea? Had been trying to booking it few times today and said unavailable sound full booking as just 2 of us:confused3

(Now time is 2.55 pm and I can see the system is not working at all)

Just got off the phone with DCL. The computer system is down and they do not know when it will be back up. I am now very tired and frustrated but at least I know what the problem is now. They really should be open on nights when people are trying to book.

International call rates to the states! ouch!

Still, the very nice lady there checked out my bookings and everything is fine. It's just the site that's down. Apparently they have had lots of calls already this morning...

They're working on it as quickly as they can. All we can do is keep trying. But I'm very glad to know that my booking is fine, and paid and everything.

Same overhere.... :( Just called DCL, and they also checked my bookings and everything is correct, but the site is still down... Keep trying later on they told us....
 
Okay now I'm just getting really annoyed with DCL. They know there is a problem now fix it. I am trying to make good use of my time though. Just finished filling out the online check in forms. Don't understand why we can do that but not book anything:confused3 . As i have not really been to bed yet I'm getting more and more annoyed with this.

You've not been to bed yet? You poor thing. I thought getting up at 5am was bad enough, but at least I got some sleep.

I was feeling pretty annoyed by the time I rang DCL at 8am but the phone line was playing the music from the old "Journey into the Imagination" while I was on hold... That cheered me up sooooo much! Can't stop humming now.

Thanks butterbearUK I needed that. I know it is not DCL fault that there is a problem. I think maybe I need to move away from the computer for a little bit and take a deep breath. I am going to call them back in a little bit and see if they have any idea when it will be up and running. Instead of sitting in front of the computer going slowly crazy.

That sounds like a plan. I had a break for lunch, and have been catching up on my emails whilst sitting here today. I'm so glad I took the day off work. I'd have been going stir crazy in the office with no access to the internet!

Poor Tinkerbell... At least, it is now over 4 pm over here, so we didn't especially got up very early. I'll keep on trying every hour or so... 'till late in the evening...
 
Just got off the phone with DCL. They have no idea what the problem is or when it will be fixed. It seems it started as a very small problem and it is growing as the day goes on. They hope to have it fixed soon. All we can do is keep trying.

Oh man - I'm so sorry that there has been difficulty getting excursions and Palo reservations made today. Oh my - I'd be so frustrated if I had gotten up in the middle of the night to try to book things. Ay yi yi!

And thanks for the reminder about doing online check-in - I had looked at it the other day but needed passport numbers, emergency contact, etc. and didn't have all that with me. I think I'll add that to my list of things to do this weekend.
 
I feel horrible for all of you that haven't had any sleep. I already have my reservations, but was going to try and book palo brunch/tea. I forgot it was today and remembered at 9:00 am. Glad i didn't loose any sleep!! The rest of my family has never traveled on DCL and stayed up all night!! YIKES!!
 
Just got off the phone with DCL. They have no idea what the problem is or when it will be fixed.

The big problem is that the people answering the phones typically do not know what the IT is currently doing, so they don't really know how long. I work in IT, and I can tell you that my typical response to people who keep calling during a major problem is that I'll get back to trying to fix things once I'm finished fielding everyone's calls asking what the problem is.

I'm not saying you shouldn't call DCL and ask, but that the people answering the phones at DCL aren't really going to know much until their IT staff gets things fixed and has time to report that info back up to them.

But, I can assure you that as a customer, I would be pestering those phone people hoping to find out as soon as the problem is resolved.
 
I have been pestering the DCL people but at least they are not the ones trying to fix the problem. The site is run by some company in California. They told me but I forgot who. Even the resv. people that you call can not get on. At least one thing has gone right . I was able to get tickets for Mickey's chiristmas party for our trip in December.

It really is bad when you can't get online to make the excursion reservations. Hope everyone is able to get on soon and are able to make the reservations they want.
