Hi my family will probably be sailing on this voyage (Since we got a cat 3) or either the july 28 one not that sure yet and we are composed of Joe 47 Lisa 46 Matt 18 (Not that sure if he wants to go) and Eric 16

Hey -that would be awesome! Let us know when you are officially booked and we'll add you to our "who's sailing with us" list!

We opted for the 10-night instead of the 11-night to save a few $$.

Hello

I finally booked the flights as it was not easy for us as we want to have direct flight but only one flight available - flyglobespan - find out that the price was very expensive :sad2:

So I booked with British Airway and will stay in Barcelona for 3 days before Cruise :cool1:

Today, I got email that the apartment is confirmation. :cool1:

GadgetGirl : Have you book the flight? what flight?

As it was not much flight from Scotland that I thought. :sad2:

Hi Deborah, Ian & kids,

My name is Andrea and my daughter is Kirsten who is 10 at present and 11 when we sail. We live in Grangemouth so not too far from you.

Hi Andrea

Just wonder if you have booking the flight?

As Flyglobespan.com their dates of flight from Glasgow/Edinburgh are out now. (Direct flight)

But find it that very expensive for 4 of us.

We booked BA last week. As it is not direct flight, stop over London :rolleyes1

Hi Scottishwee,

Glad to hear you have booked your flights and apartment, lucky you, I bet you can not wait. Was it a lot cheaper to fly BA via London than to fly directly from Edinburgh with Globespan?

We would love to book flights just now but I have just had a change of boss and Iam not sure if i will even get the holiday dates i need :confused3 and i will not find out until end of November, so iam trying not to think about the cruise just now as it just makes me feel sad that i might not get to go :sad2: :sad2:.

If i dont get the right dates i will try and change cruises but i have checked and the prices have gone up quite a bit and there are not too may cabin types left, just my luck.

I wont be on again until i find out one way or another so keep posting and hopefully i'll be back in late November full of excitement at our trip (fingers crossed).

Andrea

I am sorry to hear that but look similiar to me as i don't know if my holiday will be okay as I am waiting until November to hear if it is okay. I email to my boss but no confirm yet. :guilty:

I am sending you pixiedust: pixiedust: to you and hope everything will be okay in November.

Always something is it.

Yes, BA is much cheaper but the prices will go up, Just like easyjet.

I checked the prices today and it was 53 pounds up :guilty:

Scottishwee35: Since sis (Gadgetgirl) has not replied I shall. Yes we have booked our flights. We're going out a few days before the cruise and coming back a couple of days after. We are flying BA from Birmingham to Barcelona as it was slightly cheaper than going from London and the airport is not nearly as busy! We booked pretty much as soon as they opened the online booking window.

Next up, hotels... We are waiting on confirmation that we can cash in Hotel points to pay for our stay. Fingers crossed :thumbsup2

Hi Milia

Wow that is cheaper flight grrrr as I have been checked the flight from Birmingham to Barcelona as the prices are much better than Edinburgh to Barcelona grrrr.

As no direct flight from BA as we have to stop over in London :sad2: then another flight to Barcelona but we don't mind cos the times are not too bad.

Oh, we are so looking forward to meet you and another well Cheer :thumbsup2

Almost 10 months, 1 week and 3 days to go, well least 3 days as we will be in Barcelona 3 days before cruise :dance3: :dance3:

Oh my - I have been so neglectful of this thread - things have been crazy busy around here which has been great because it's making the time until our Med. cruise pass quickly!

Hope you all are all doing well.

I checked airfare "on my own" and also looking at hotel costs, too, and it looks like we'll come out about even by booking our air and pre-cruise hotel plus transfers through DCL. It's one less thing to take care of (whew!).

Hey, my family and I are headed out on this cruise as well! We have mom -Michele, dad - Matt , myself -Carson (16 on the cruise), brother - Landon (14 on the cruise), sister - Elise (10 on the cruise), sister - Monique (6 on the cruise).

We plan for late dining, and we're booked in stateroom 8030

Welcome to the Cruise Meet thread! We look forward to getting to know y'all! I'll add you to the "who's sailing with us" list and repost it.

Am I missing anyone??? If so, let me know and I'll add you to the list!

less than 10 months to wait, dear fellow travellers!
In the meantime, we're going to DLRParis 12 & 13 november! :yay:
To celebrate an early Xmas!

And we have found DLRParis addicts that went already 3 times on a DisneyCruise... (very rare here in our country!) and they do the same cruise we do, but in august, because then it's the 5th. birthday of their son: Walt!

On our cruise there certainly will be other Belgian people: "Fabiocco" : Someone who posts on the DLRPfans.be forum........ :scratchin

You know, when we first booked this cruise, I was super-excited and was constantly thinking about it, reading about the ports, etc., but lately it seems that days will pass without me even thinking about it. YIKES! I guess that's normal with a trip that's pretty far off still - and goodness knows we still have plenty of things to keep us busy between now and July!

Anyone else in that "ho-hum" stage about this trip? It's too far away to be doing much to prepare...

Just over 9 months til we sail!

Here's a riddle made up by my 10 yr old:

There are 5 around the world.
Two of those are in the US.

What are they?
