Hi Everyone. So excited to have booked this cruise. Just me and my DH. We have all the kids out of the house now.....2 in college, with 1 who will graduate before the cruise and another son living in D.C. area. Still looking for airfare. Not sure what to do here, but I think I can get a better fare.

Sue(me) and Fred (DH). I guess since we booked using our DVC points, we don't get a cabin assigned, however, I did request a few. Hopefully they will fulfill my request. I've always been pretty lucky. Airfare booked on our own is only going up to the beginning of June right now. I keep looking! Think we are going to leave a day early, also. Just to be sure not to miss the ship!

Finally, I told mother & father in law that we are going to Barcelona and they said Barcelona for the kids then mil realise oh it is Disney Cruise . So I told them that kids want to go back on Disney Cruise and thought why not go to Europe.

Then they want to join in with us and I contacted Dreams Unlimited but unfortunately that the price went up, more dear for them. Then father in law change his mind that he don't want to come and not sure so I contact Dreams Unlimited to see if 5 of us but unfortunately Cat4 was none left. Mean Cat1 to Cat5 all sold out.

Wish told them earlier, I never thought that they want to join with us as their 40th Wedding, I thought they want something special. Shame is it.

That is great that you booked and using your DVC points. About Airfare, we are still searching and it still too early in Scottish. But I wait another month and see if any cheaper flight. We are going 3 days early as my husband want to see Barcelona because it is beautiful city and he want see Barcelona football well.

Yep, this time next year, we'll be in Barcelona having come in on the red-eye. I'm so excited that in two days we can say it is less than a year til our trip!

I never knew a holiday could be such an emotional rollercoaster. I am preparing already, i shall have bankrupted our entire family by the time we actually leave as i am perpetually holiday shopping already! today i bought a great dress, prefect for cruises, but really early! whats a girl to do.

well it truly will be groovy bananas to meet you all, (in a WHOLE YEAR ) but put it far from my mind and STOP SHOPPING!!!

Yes, just one Year minus one day, and we're in Barcelona on the Magic.

But first we're off to sunny France now, we leave next sunday...
And on july 31, we arrive in DLRParis for 4 days

hmmm, this forum makes me miss the WDW and DL, all you people going! still Milia was greatly annoyed yesterday when she realised that to get to a part of ireland for her boyfriends cousins wedding, she had to travel 10 hours and that is long enough to get to WDW. so i guess i'm better off than her. we'll be back soon i am certain of it, have fun in DLP DLRPfan.be! it'll be great, if a little hot.

Oh - I don't even want to think about what all we'll need to take with us in terms of shopping. DH already said he's not taking a jacket but will take a tie, so if there is a formal night (which I'm sure there will be), he'll just be coat-less. When we sailed before, we drove, so it was one of those things where if we can get it in the car, we can get it to the ship. But this time by flying, we'll have to pack a bit more tightly and conservatively, plus for several more days.

I've already started saving up my $1/bills for various tips that we'll need along the way. I figure if I collect them now and stick them back, then when it's time to travel, I won't have to go to the bank to get a stack like I did last time.

Just to let You know, in Europe it is not custom to "tip"... because all prices in restaurants, bars etc... are "service included". The waiters here are mostly very well paid.

OH, I meant I was saving the $1's for tipping onboard - for room service, etc. And any that we have left over, I can just apply towards our onboard charges at the end of the trip - or use for seed for our next cruise
