July 15-22 2006 Western Anyone?

Is anyone bringing their own beach towels. I know they supply towels but I was just wondering if we should bring some of our own too. Not that I have ANY ROOM!!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

I emptied my suitcase (call me crazy  I know). I actually got rid of some stuff. It's all neatly packed and ready to go. I don't know what I was thinking with some of the things I packed. I now have more room.

Our latest countdown:

4 Suitcases
2 Garment bags
2 rolling duffel bags (one will be pretty empty and the other is small)
and of course our carryons.

I'm singing the Partride in a Pear Tree tune to this as I type. :rolleyes1

I'm so glad they limit you to 2 checked bags per person.

FYI - Husband still hasn't packed.

:disrocks:

Your hubby is waiting for that fairy. pixiedust: I really think they do it to those of us who like order on purpose. It is a conspiracy. :rotfl:

I am not packing towels, because for 5 of us, it would be another suitcase. I read that they have towels that you can even take off the ship.

You are doing great with your suitcase reduction. With one suitcase per person, I am not opening anything out of them. 5 people, 5 suitcases...sounds good to me. Of course the 3 carryons are added there, but they have my capt morgan's and coconut rum in them . I may need to open them on the way.

Is it okay to carry those in the carry on. They are those little single serve plastic bottles...to mix with soda? Should I put it in a checked bag or will I be okay with it in a carry on?

Sorry, I think I asked the same question in several different ways. :confused3

Greetings all!!

We are in Brunswick, Georgia. We spent some time at the pool. It was advertised as the "Largest Outdoor Pool". But they didn't say largest compared to what.

We probably have a three hour drive tomorrow morning, so it will be very relaxing. The good news is that everything fit well into the back of the car.

So if I read the posts correctly, there will be a group of green tshirts, as well as our pink tshirts. We will be quite the crowd.

I am charging all the batteries tonight - Camera, video camera and cell phones. Hey all you new camera owners, did anyone buy the charger to charge the battery in the phone? If so, could you provide some feedback. I probably should have bought a second battery. Oh well.

The family is all very excited. I am guessing we will arrive at the Radisson a little after lunch.

By the way, the internet is not great here, but I may try to post again. I don't like missing all the excitement of your postings.

So happy you made it safe and sound to Georgia. 3 hours tomorrow will go by so quickly.

I didn't know there was a battery for the camera that you can charge in the phone. I may have to have my technical genius of a husband look into that for me. We decided that we are going to bring our Canon camera as well. We will use that one on the ship and the Sony when we are in port since it's so tiny. My hubby thinks I should bring my laptop so we can download the pictures. AH NOT!!! Hello, I think we have enough to carry. I figured with both cameras we should be in good shape. I went with the 2mg for the Sony and we have a 1mg for the Canon.

I still have no word as to what we are wearing. I think I packed all of our clothes!!! I will just look for the pink and the lime green.

You all must be so excited being on your way. Another bunch leaves tomorrow and it's just me and BTSEN family left.

Have a safe trip to the port. See ya Saturday!!!

So cool. You are on the road and still posting.....a true Dis'er. Get some rest and have a very safe trip tomorrow. Will you be able to see the Magic coming in on Saturday? I am assuming that they come in then. I am not sure where the Radison is that you will be staying at. I know there is a cam of some sort Ithought.

See ya Saturday. :wave2:

Yes it is a conspiracy. I just wish I knew what he was thinking. Oh well, I finally come to the conclusion that it is not my problem anymore. Just wait until tomorrow when he has to work, take the dog to the doggie hotel, mow the lawn, have the pool tested, pack his stuff, pack up the car and take us out to dinner. Who will be laughing then..... :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think you will be fine bringing the little bottles in your carryon. When people get off of cruises they carryon the big bottles in the nifty little boxes that say liquor.

Ok, I will scratch towels off my list. I know they have them for us to use. I just like mine. Call me strange.

LOL!! :rotfl2: He may be grumpy. Watch out!! Just sing him, "When you wish upon a star..."

You reminded me of something that will bother me.....until I see the ship. It rained before I could mow the lawn, and it is going to rain all day tomorrow. I won't get to do it. :furious: I wanted it to look nice for my mom. She lives in an apartment and is excited to have a patio and grill etc to use. Oh well, she can pretend she is in a jungle. Not a bad concept.

Well, I feel like there has to be something I am missing. I mean, I watched the Pirates movie. I should not have time for that. Should I? I feel like I am too organized at this point. I see that all changing tomorrow. I just found out that my aunt should be here between 12 and 1. I will not be home all morning until 12 or 1. I will have no time to do the stuff I need to do beforehand. I am sure I will be a basket case. :scared1:

I am glad to hear you are feeling better. I know how badly those migraines can be just by going through it with my hubby. He suffered for years before he found out they were migraines. It would ruin an entire Saturday. Finally he went to the doctor and they gave him a prescription for the Imitrex tablets. They knock them right out. Aspirin and such never did.

Well, tomorrow morning I can do the online checkin to try to get an A boarding pass with Southwest. I want to sit with the family, or the stranger that would be next to me would not appreciate my nails digging into their arm upon takeoff. :sad2:

There's nothing wrong with watching a little Johnny Depp!!!! :)

Being organized at this point is a good thing. Take a deep breath and think of my husband with all the things he has to do tomorrow and laugh. I know I will. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No worries, we can be basket cases together tomorrow.

I have never gotten boarding pass A and never had a problem sitting with my family. Then again I never check in online either. Hmmm....I may have to try that out next time.

Ok, I think I'm going to head of to bed. I'm going to dream happy thoughts about sailing away into the sunset!!!! Ok, really I will be dreaming about all the stuff I have to do tomorrow too.

Goodnight All!!!!

I've been singing that all day today since TheGales posted it.

It's funny you say that. My husband was going to mow the lawn today and the lawn guys came to fertilize it. Can't be mowed for 24 hrs. :rotfl2: See he should have listen to me two days ago about the packing thing. :lmao:

Ok, really I'm going to put this laptop down now and try to get some shut eye.

Oh boy, we haven't even met and you know me so well. :lmao:

I am glad you said bedtime first. I was just going to say goodnight and label myself a party pooper, but you are . LOL :rotfl: Seriously, I am going nite nite so I can save up all the energy I can for the cruise. I hope to get very little sleep there. :rolleyes1

When your mind wanders to what you have to do tomorrow, just imagine yourself on deck with a large, cool foo foo drink in hand....of course hubby has the children at that moment. Johnny Depp walks up......WAIT A MINUTE!!! That is my dream. :lovestruc

Certain rooms at the Radisson can see the Magic when she is in port. We may have to take a look Saturday morning when we wake up.

As you can tell, I did bring my work laptop, even though I can't download pictures. I bought a second 1 mg card, so I think I will be okay. But when I start to fill up the first card, I will check with Shutters to see what the cost is to down load to CD.

I might check work e-mail when I am done posting here. Nah, who am I kidding.

We are still trying to figure out if we want to change our dining. On our first cruise, we had Fernando as our assistant server. On our next cruise, we happened to be in the same rotation as him, although we did not have him. He made sure to stop by the table each night and check on the girls. If he is still on the ship, we may ask to get him. My concern is that if he is on the 5:30 rotation, that might be too early for us. We will talk about it in the car on the drive down.

Does anyone know if Disney's phone numbers are (407) 466-89xx? I had a missed call on my cell phone, and they did not leave a message.

Okay, I am rambling now.

Uhhhmmm, I see you are still on. :lmao:

To bed with you!! You have to go first.

Well, I am old and I can't take it any longer. I am off to bed. After all, I have a boarding pass to get.

Have a great night. Sleep well. I will not be home much in the morning but you can bet that as I pass the computer I will be checking in.

We are on our way!!!! :woohoo: :dance3:

The 407 area code is definatly the Orlando area. I'm not sure what their number is though.

I'm still hoping we can change our dining times. Do you know where you can do that once you are on the ship.

They will tell you when you check in. I may head there, while the rest of family goes to the Mickey pool.

Hey, I don't think I offered congratulations on the 1,000 post. I was a little disappointed that I could not partake, but they frown on DISing and driving.

Yup still here. I was catching my DH up on the posts. He is really curious as to what I've been talking about all week. A little paranoid maybe. He should be after today's posts. :rotfl2:

Sleep well too. Really I'm going to go now. Ok, I'm going.

We all should be proud. :thumbsup2 As you can see I've been a blabber mouth today. I keep saying I'm going to go to sleep but I just can't peel myself away from the computer. It's just, well you know......the EXCITEMENT!!!

I like the sound of that dream. May I borrow it? Who ever gets to sleep first can have it. Deal?

Did he catch the hint from your posts that you should really start packing? :rotfl:

It is a dreary morning and now they say tomorrow morning will be ugly too. I am telling you, I think they make the forecast look beautiful until it is too late for the tourists to change their plans. They always forecast beautiful weather until Friday morning. :furious:

Well, you must have taken that dream, because I did not have one that even resembled it. That is just not right. ;)

I woke up with a start in the middle of the night, because I had a dream that my youngest was hurt. How terrible is that? I think this fear of flying is affecting my subconsious. I am not nervous about anything else, so that must be it. I will try to keep those dreams from making an appearance tonight.

I told my husband, after I found out that it was going to rain, that I would rather take off on a dry runway, and he just laughed. Do you believe that. He said I don't know much about airplanes. He is very supportive of my worries. :rolleyes1

I will be back later. I have a busy morning. I think I will get it started now. Have a great one. My goodness, this time tomorrow, we will be at the airport. I can't believe we are so close. :dance3:
