July 15, 2013- WONDER if a Mickey Bar will melt in Alaska?

Yay finally received final approval for the time off for the cruise. The request had been in for a month and during that time our store inventory was changed. This is the most stressful time of the year and had to go to the store manager for approval. I now return to work the day of inventory and a non stressful day back. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to go on the cruise and now I'm looking forward to sailing on the Disney Wonder again.

We just had my daughter's first birthday party and I am WIPED!! It was fun in that I am totally exhausted and just want to watch TV for the rest of my life sort of way! But, now.... the next big thing in our house is the cruise!!

We have a christmas doodad that counts the days to christmas. would like to convert it to days to sail. believe there are some web sites that can do this. just about done getting vancouver hotel, rent a car, and trip insurance taken care of. major stress relief. AJ glad your work sked worked out and oh by the way if there was such a thing you would get the started a new page on our meet and greet notes award,
AZ saw that arizona got hit with snow did your kids get to see any of the white stuff. Happy birthday to your daughter.
Now that i am in a hold mode for the cruise time to boot up turbo tax.

Yahoo!!!!!!!! Excited that there are less than 5 months until we set sail!!!! I'm over the cold, snow and dreary days, I WANT summer!!!!

Time to really focus on our travel plans, been looking at hotels to stay at the night before we leave, looks like we will end up in the hotel at the airport by the time we get in. Hope it's a nice one!!!!!

Karrie and I will be sitting down in the next week or two to really get rolling on getting the FE set up so we can all start planning and getting ideas on what to do for the FE gifts. Any and all tips are welcome!!!!

Yes!! It was really coming down at dismissal at school! The next day it was still there on the playground and the kids went nuts! My son said he saw it at daycare, but t was pretty much melted when I got there an hour later. It was all over the mountains though. We also live fairl close to the ball field that was on the news (not sure if that's what you saw) but none stuck at our house. Exciting stuff! I've lived here 30 years and this is only the second time I remember snow sticking.

If I could ship you all of the snow I have in my yard I would ;-). We got about 4 inches last night and possibly another inch by morning....

This will be my 6th Disney cruise, so I am gold finally. DH has one less cruise. This will be the first cruise for the grandsons.

Our family is going on the July 15th Alaska cruise.

My husband and I will be there along with my 2 girls, age 13 and age 8.

It is our second Alaska cruise. 2nd Disney cruise. 1st Disney Alaska cruise.

We would like to participate in the FE( need to get details on it)

Interested in finding families with kids around the same age, especially my 13 year old so she could talk with other teens prior to cruise via social media.

I'm new to the DIS.

We loved Alaska the first time. Can't wait to go back.

Karrie and I are actually getting together tomorrow to try and figure out exactly how any people we have and ages. I've been siting here with my excel spreadsheet tonight trying to sort it all . Hoping to have info out by next weekend. I've noticed we have a few names with out ages and actual family members.

Karrie and I are currently trying to get the list of everyone who is participating in the FE together. So we can get the list out to everyone so they can get started on their goodies . I have been looking at Sheenas list of participants and I want to be certain everyone in your group is planning to participate, can you please message me on the DIS board or email me at jaysteb@yahoo.com. I'd like to have the list out to everyone by next weekend.

Also if you have any tips or tricks to share with everyone that would be WONDERful!!!!!

hi - haven't been on in a long time - but i just wanted to say that we have to move our cruise to 2014 - my daughter got a disney internship with wdi and cannot get off for the cruise - so the whole family is going to wait until she can make the cruise - sorry for the late message on fe's but rooms 5005, 5009, 5013, & 5014 will be out - hope you guys have a great cruise - our 2011 cruise was fantastic and i know yours will be -
