July 13th cruise docs!!!!!!!!!!

When I came home from work today, there sat the famous FedEx box on my front step! Im VERY EXCITED!!!!

They are pretty early..Any other 7/13 cruisers get theirs???

We're on the July 6th western cruise and we still haven't seen that Fed-Ex man yet!

Wow! I wonder why they vary so much. I booked through Dreams Unlimited. Did you book thru a TA or directly thru disney??

Not too paranoid, but I did call DCL and confirm our TA had paid them. All is fine.

Wedding??What wedding?? We are more excited about the cruise..LOL!!!
I think my neighbors thought I was losing it yesterday when I saw the package!! Oh Well!
Gina : Plans are going really well. No major problems! almost all rsvp's in. Getting excited cause ppl I havent seen in years are actually coming..like my college roommate! Have my 2nd fitting today!!

Well I hope you all get your docs soon!! I still find it strange I got them sooooo early! No complaints!

We booked through Disney, using a combination of DVC points and cash. I booked 11 months out and paid in full at that time.

I would love to know the logic of when people get their papers. Is it based on whom you book through, cabin category, alphabetical (last name), or zodiac sign??? Who knows!

All I know is that my DF (darling family - is that an abbreviation used here?) is beginning to wonder whether I really booked this cruise or if I'm playing a cruel hoax.

Come on, FedEx man!

When my docs were delivered I was on the phone with a CM asking about when I should expect delivery. She told me that they wouldn't be sent until two weeks before the cruise! They were on my porch when I went outside after the call......I am pretty certain there is no rhyme or reason. I booked our cruise a year ago after our first one. I paid in full about 5 months ago. I booked my own air reservations....last year they did everything and I got my documents about 30 days before.

I called DCL (again!) today about stepdaughter's i.d. and they said my cruise docs should be here by end of week (I need her bio mom to sign one of the forms I guess). I'll be looking for FedEx!

Still shopping for our trip. DH bought his gorgeous black suit! Now to find a dress for me...

Our Docs came in yesterday! I just spoke to the TA (I called her) and she said that she was just about to call me (sure sure!) so anyway I am going to go pick them up today!!
I always feel like the trip is that much closer when you can hold the tickets in your hands!!

Im also glad to see so many more 7/13ers out there!!

Well, it's a couple of my "families". My brother and cousin are coming with their families, some people from my "work" family are coming, and then it's my "family" from the Woodhaven-Richmond Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps in Queens where we all belong. (or some just used to belong but have moved out of the area)
20 of us are on the same flight.

Most of my friends don't have any skills in planning their own social activities :0). This will be my 20th cruise (1st on Disney!) and one by one I am hooking all of them on crusing. We planned this over a year ago, started out with 8 people, and it just kept going.

My cousin has printed just about every word about the cruise from anything she can find on the internet (first time cruise, big time Disney fan!) She is going to have a stroke before 7/13. She already knows all of the menus!!!

We can't wait. Guess we'll se some of you there. You won't be able to miss our gang I am sure of it!

I am hoping to get my dh hooked on cruising as well so that I can get to go on more! I have been on two (Magic once, and once on Royal Carribbean) but this will be dh's first cruise.

That is great that it snowballed into so many folks going!

Im sure we will see your group at some point on the cruise!

lin, How fun! It probably will be hard to miss ya'll! 20 cruises? Wow! What was your favorite so far? We know what it'll be after this one ! Your cousin sounds like me...I never posted on boards or chatted or even bought something online before this trip. Now I can't stay off these boards. Too much good info!

stacey, DH doesn't even like boats and we were both hooked after our 1st one! I'm sure yours'll love it as much as you do! We're aiming for at least one a year now -- next one will probably be without the kids again, just to keep things fresh !

DH and I watched the DCL video last night (cruise is still a secret)! We're like a couple of kids we're so excited...but I know the first words out of DD6 will be "Are we going to WDW too?" She's becoming a "mickeynut" (pun intended) herself
