It worked. I received great news from the doctor. He said I can absolutely go on the trip.
I just need to make sure I walk up and down the plane every half hour and wiggle my feet when sitting in my seat. I am so excited.
Mari,
Thanks for the pixie dust.It worked. I received great news from the doctor. He said I can absolutely go on the trip.
I just need to make sure I walk up and down the plane every half hour and wiggle my feet when sitting in my seat. I am so excited.
Taylor came for a visit for two days and we spent some time talking about the cruise. Can't hardly wait. Just think only three months.
Are you and your family getting excited or just trying to get through the school year?
How about the rest of our July 12th cruisers? Are you all getting excited or just too busy to think about it yet.

I am sure Taylor will keep me in line though. She knows how important this is.

so much for a brunch alone with my DH. Our oldest didn't know what to do with his brothers after the movie...we are like....what??????? go swim...have a snack...etc...
Let me know what you think. Surprised we have not heard from anyone else since we are so close to our 90 days. Will make my Palo brunch reservation on Monday. Getting so excited.

I don't know how an adult can be with him if the runner is only for one???

. Who knows, perhaps we will be in the same dining rotation and we will wave to your group! Last cruise our Dis Meet group was in the early rotation for dining, but scattered in the different restaurants.

Mari,
I would like to know how many things I should buy to put in them and how many days you are planning on buying for.
I know you told us once before who you bought yours from but could you please give that info again?
Lisa

and so what if he is the only kid in his junior high that knows how to break dance?...
)
. There were some in our FE group that just gave once and others put a little something every evening. One overseas family gave snacks that they eat which were fun.

Hi Everyone,
I too am excited about doing the fish extenders. My friend who is very crafty (I am not) offered to make mine for me. I can't wait to see it. Whatever it looks like will certainly be better than what I could have done!! How many of us and what ages are there going to be?
Mari: I was reading the boards and read about you wearing one of your sorority dresses for formal night. Would love to see one of the photos. I am 62 and believe me would NEVER fit into anything from my high school days (didn't go to college). Send us a photo! Will your boys dress up?
Gosh the boys get out of school early. Taylor doesn't get out until mid June.
Can't wait to meet everyone on our cruise.![]()
.... and a tall bean pole at that. There would be no way in my 40's I could slither into anything that shiny or sparkly. Those pictures from the early 90's wouldnt even look like us. I think my DH was wearing some tux with a pattened tropical tie
..ugh at least there were no ruffles!

I do believe my husband might have worn one of those to one of our proms.

Mari,
Sorry won't be able to see the beautiful dresses. What really sounds great would have been if your husband had worn the "ruffled shirt"I do believe my husband might have worn one of those to one of our proms.
You know with the airlines putting limits on luggage it is getting more difficult to bring formal wear. I don't think people are getting dressed up nearly like they used to. Good thing this is only 4 days and not 7.
Weather here this last week has been in the 90's. It sure is way too early for these temperatures. What is it like by you?
Taylor is going to take her driver's test on Friday. She is pretty nervous. I am more nervous about her getting on those California roads.![]()

Her next choice is BYU. Then, of course, one has to be accepted!

Well I don't think USC was as tough to get into when I was there. My sister in law kept telling my niece who is graduating that she was "too intelligent" to attend USC and although she applied there, my sister in law wanted her to go to "more academic schools" like Berkeley or UCLA. With her 4.1 (with AP classes) she was outright rejected from USC and is on the waiting lists for Berkeley and UCLA...I had to laugh..I thought if you had relatives that went to USC it was an ez acceptance.Mari: You make it sound as though you live in the "boonies"
Has Spencer gotten his license? Wow, USC. How impressive. Such a great school and so difficult to get in to. Taylor has looked at Pepperdine but tuition is running about $40,000.Her next choice is BYU. Then, of course, one has to be accepted!
My husband hates driving and even going to California. After growing up there and the moving here he dreads going to all that traffic too. I keep telling him though the traffic here in the last five years is worse than L.A.
Looking forward to this weekend as it is going to cool down to the high 70's
ToothFairy: Glad you want to participate in FE. How many are going to be in your party besides Katlyn? I am so excited and can't wait to meet everyone![]()
