**JULY 11, 2010*** Double Dip Wonder!

We got home last night at about 8:00....spent the whole day at the airport waiting for our flight. I'd booked an earlier one and it was canceled. More exhausting to sit in the airport than to be on an excursion! But we had good company, half the people from our ship were there too.

No docs for me, by the way.

When is the wedding - as in what time of day? Hum, do I know this and forgot?

The ceremony is at "approximately 10:00 AM" according to our wedding planner, then we go to palo for cake and bubbly and finish up whenever we want after that.

Got the docs! Just another reminder that it is getting closer. Right now I am waiting for Protective Services to bring me an 8 y.o. little girl who has been abused by mom's boyfriend. Sad Have a teddy bear and PJ's waiting. Not sure how long I will have her. Going to be busy day tomorrow...my mother-in-law and sister-in-law are arriving from TX in the afternoon for a week's visit. Alexa's last day of school is tomorrow (that means a half day at best) AND I have to be at work tomorrow at least for a little while to get some things done.

But the best news of the day is that Belle sent Alexa a WONDERful letter that made her gush AND my customized FE arrived!! I never could have made one that nice!

I think it's going to be a long night! Take care everyone and hug your kids!

Awww.....my heart breaks for that little girl. How wonderful that there are people like you who will give them some warmth for at least a little while.

I was just coming to post about that. Looks like we'll be missing pirate night as that is our Palo night. Oh well. I've heard mixed reviews about Once Upon A Song. We'll be missing that one as well as we'll be in the spa.

I don't have a Palo dinner, so I'm kind of excited (interested) to see the new shows. I'd quit going to the shows a while ago, because I practically had them memorized. Will be nice to see something new.

I wish they would bring in Art of the Story - that was magical.

Virgil - hope you and your family are having a great time. Looking forward to hearing all about it!!

The last few days have been hectic. My MIL and SIL are in from TX for a family wedding on Saturday. Believe it or not, my foster child is already gone! Not sure what to make of this but after her police-led forensic interview, it was determined that there was not enough information to keep her in care. While I would tend to agree that there was not outright abuse from her father there sure was something inappropriate going on! Unfortunately, she learned quickly that telling means being taken from your mother so I doubt that she will feel safe enough to talk to anyone. It's a shame!
