So, onto Cruise Planning - a few questions.

Do we have any idea yet about the shows and/or entertainment?
Other than Welcome Aboard on Day 1 and Till we met Again on Day 5?
Hum?


And what is everyone planning on for Palo's dinner? Other than Virgil, I am assuming we are leaving the Tux at home - yes? So, I expect it is a coat and tie for the men and dressy dresses for the ladies? Since I am not hauling dive gear this trip I have lots of room in the suitcases.

I haven't heard anything on shows, etc. Isnt' the 1st 5-day of the summer sailing out on Sunday? I can't wait to hear from that crew. I hope someone brings Navigators back.

I have Palo brunch booked on the sea day (10 a.m. or so) and my girls and I are headed to Atlantis to do the water park while we are in Nassau. That's about it. Oh yeah... relax.

I'm going to wear the same dress to dinner one night that I wear to the wedding. I'm not doing a Palo dinner this time.

Must stare at the closet again....I was planning on wearing my wedding dress to Palo's brunch. Sam needs to go shopping - dive gear - check. Tux - check. Anything in between - no check.


I think I will pull out all my cruise shirts and toss them into the luggage and call it a day, with slacks of course.

Well, we leave for Alaska BEFORE the crack of dawn on Friday...home on the 6th, I leave for Omaha on the 9th and home late on the 17th.....
After that, I will be in FULL WONDER CRUISE planning mode!!!!
I already have an idea of the "dressy" clothes I'm bringing....the rest should be easy, tanks, tees and shorts.

Pretty much so. I have to supervise Jared's packing today...he thinks he can wear shorts the whole time .....but otherwise, that's all.

I think by fall I will be "traveled-out".....and have no plans at all for ANYTHING in the future beyond visits to the grandbabies.


Got Jared all packed, and convinced him he only needs to wear shorts on the plane to Seattle. Whew. I wouldn't want to see him having to buy (let alone WEAR!) sweatpants in port somewhere.

Dismeet update

Jim, Lisa, Sam and I had a dismeet at the Tiki hut by the marina. That was after a great day of diving!!!! We had perfectly calm current on the Mitzpah - neat wreck off our coast. Pity that Sam's camera is not working so we could not grab the photo of Jim and Lisa kneeling in the sand...(I'll pay for that remark, I am sure....) Second dive started out nice as an aquarium dive - a reef with pretty fish.....too short but it was great to get back in the water.

So Virgil, I hear that you are opening the bar BEFORE the ceremony - Thanks...
