Last I heard, she was choosing a shade of blue. WHAT shade, I do not know. But my dress has navy blue, so I know I'm safe.

Yes, the color is Oasis, but on all of our computers, it doesn't match the real life color in those photos. It's a little darker and more like the vests that Mens Wearhouse has to match it. Link

My initial thought is that if I'm stuck in a tux - then by god everybody should be in formal wear....

Wear what you want... it's on a beach.. in the summer... it will be hot and sunny... Just remember that you will be in pictures with all of us....

And thanks for the concern for Phoenix. I would post some pictures, bu t it looks pretty nasty with him all bruised, bandaged and swolen.

Beautiful color! Perfect for the beach. My dress has some teal in it but mostly is brown. So I think we'll be good.

Virgil your comment about the pictures is just why I asked. I remember the big group shot from the 04 cruise. You all were in the group t-shirts and Mark and I were dressed for formal night (since we had early dinner). He looked like a waiter had entered the shot.

That would be both of them (Kristin is in the middle kneeling in the red shirt in front of Frances, I'm behind Frances, and Lauren is over next to Lisa).. Wow that seems so long ago.... To think that is the cruise that really started it all for our group.....

Mary, at least Mark is standing next to Linda's Robert, who's wearing a suit.
And there's me in the front (far left) in a skirt. Looking really fat. So at least you weren't the only ones w/o your t-shirts on!

You are right Stacey at least Linda and Robert were also dressed. There was so much going on that day with the group picture, wine tasting and then formal night dinner that we just thought it best to dress earlier. Those of you on late seating had more time.

Third.... some bittersweet news - my husband's contract in SC will end at the end of this month so he wil be coming home banana but won't have a job to come home to sad1. He isn't needed for this next phase of the project but may be needed in 6 months (or less). Thank God I have a majority of the cruise paid for already! Nothing is going to stop me from sailing with you guys in July! I will figure this outand make it happen

Keep your fingers crossed that something pans out here for him in the meantime. And pray that we all make a smooth adjustment from a 7 month absence from the family.

Stacey - looks like you need to remove one of your tickers. There was a thread on the main page that one of the locations (I'm thinking the one you were using) is blocked because of a virus they found.

It's still amazing to me how much the younger ones have changed. She was just a little girl back then, and now she's a young lady. Hard to imagine her going tandem on the parasail with you now!
